[b]Third of all, they weren’t in the Capitol building[/b],” Colbert said. “Fourth of all — and I’m shocked I have to explain the difference — but [b]an insurrection involves disrupting the lawful actions of Congress and howling for the blood of elected leaders, all to prevent the peaceful transfer of power.[/b]”

Given the speed with which this was pulled up into the right wing dumb-o-sphere, I still suspect that the right wing elements in the Capitol Police were being political. But no one among the puppeteers was insurrectioning. No one was threatening anyone’s lives. [/quote]
