What does "break so many at Twitter" mean? Are you talking about employees?

Yes, and most of the large ones who took more stock options for salary than cash.

They are talking about Musk engaging in price manipulation. Basically, Musk can threaten to dump his shares and that would cause fortunes among Twitter employees to plummet, unless Twitter does what he demands.

Essentially, Musk is betting that the SEC won't do anything to rein in his price manipulation.

What will Musk demand?

What if he doesn’t intend to manipulate the price of the stock, but instead wants changes?

It's interesting that RW folks are so cool with implicit and explicit blackmail.

He bought the shares legally. They can turn him down.

Compared to what Twitter has done in the last 4-5 years, a (totally legal) hostile takeover by Musk is child’s play.

Twitter seems to be doing just fine without Trump right now. Even if Musk did dump his shares out of spite, wouldn’t the price go right back up again?

Sounds like Musk wants changes and he intends to use the threat of stock price manipulation in order to get those changes. A strange position to take with a company that is already hugely successful.
