And these were units of Russia's "elite" and "professional" military doing it. So it wasn't for lack of training and proper military doctrine. It WAS their doctrine to torture, rape, loot and murder.

i.e. eliminate everything Ukrainian, including people, language, culture, leaders, history, everything.
