Foul play

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen

I have found my people! I love love love Foul Play. For some reason, we had it on VHS and I watched it over and over again.
“And I’m ready to take a chance on youuuu”

Omg I love Foul Play!! I am constantly looking for it to show my kids, but can’t find it anywhere. Anyone have any intel?

I watched it with my kids a few years ago, and it was less funny and much more violent than I'd remembered. They were kind of appalled that I thought of this as a hilarious movie from my youth!

Really?! I don’t remember the violence. I guess we 80’s kids were inured to it ha.

The late 80s were the golden age of sports movies:

The Natural

I think it will be enjoyed by future generations to come.

A close second would have to be Sixteen Candles.
Unfortunately it could never be made in our current cultural times due to the “Long Duck Dong” storyline but as an Asian-American, I love it!! 🤣🤣🤣

Other faves include:
• The Lost Boys (R.I.P. to the ultra-talented star Corey Haim.)

• Stand By Me

• E.T. (but of course…..!)

• Top Gun (when Tom + Val we’re H-O-T!)

You could nit make 16 candles today. Talk about rapey.
