Drinking game for Lost Boys: Do a shot every time someone says “Michael.” Do two every time someone whispers it in a sultry voice.

No, actually, don’t do that. Think of your liver.
Im the PP. love this idea…. Lol. Now I’ll be thinking about all the times they say Michael that I never realized before.

Sorry to be a grammar Nazi but it's '80s. Not 80's.

Please proceed.

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen

That movie holds up, too!

Sadly Spies Like Us does not. Tried to watch it again a few years ago and couldn't get more than 15 minutes in. It used to be one of my favorites.

Just watched Gremlins with my ten year old. The “inventions” of the dad are so fun. Remote control phone answerer and orange juicer. Plus pay phones! Mostly he loved the home alone feel of rigging up attacks and ambushes.

Do we just not have that anymore? Too any lawsuits I guess 😀

So true. But to be totally 80s on you, these hand held tablet things have a mind of their own when it comes to autocorrect and contractions and such.

Very little of what Chevy Chase has done holds up IMO. Not this, not Fletch, Caddyshack still great but in spite of him. Vacation and Christmas Vacation still OK.

I remember going to see Footloose at the movie theater with my best friend. We were so inspired and energized after that we were dancing all over the parking lot waiting for my mom to pick us up. (Trying to dance, I should say. More like spasming)

Then in the car on the way back to our neighborhood we were screaming the chorus of Footloose out the window (we didn't know any of the other words).

I totally remember my mom saying, "next time your father picks you up." What, almost 40 years later and my friend and I still talk about how much fun we had that day.
