I watched it with my kids a few years ago, and it was less funny and much more violent than I'd remembered. They were kind of appalled that I thought of this as a hilarious movie from my youth!

The Breakfast Club was a classic all the way‼️

I think it will be enjoyed by future generations to come.

A close second would have to be Sixteen Candles.
Unfortunately it could never be made in our current cultural times due to the “Long Duck Dong” storyline but as an Asian-American, I love it!! 🤣🤣🤣

Other faves include:
• The Lost Boys (R.I.P. to the ultra-talented star Corey Haim.)

• Stand By Me

• E.T. (but of course…..!)

• Top Gun (when Tom + Val we’re H-O-T!)

That movie holds up, too!

Sadly Spies Like Us does not. Tried to watch it again a few years ago and couldn't get more than 15 minutes in. It used to be one of my favorites.

Doctor doctor doctor doctor scene is great. Especially in dc.

I am PP - and yes, totally. There are scenes that hold up. The movie as a whole - maybe I just wasn't in the mood.
