Um, there aren’t laws against what the principal at Deal is doing? Child abuse anyone?

Oh for pete's sake - no this isn't child abuse Karen. You are so dumb.

Your argument would be stronger if it weren’t a lazy and misogynistic attempt to shut people up.

Agree. Child abuse It’s actually offensive to suggest child abuse. On behave of abused children in America, I think Karen PP should STFU.

Lazy lazy lazy argument.

DP but not sure how people are calling this lazy when nobody has suggested a single solution yet. Just whining, complaining their way through another day.

I also don't believe for a second that the "deal teacher" is who they say they are. As a PP said, no teacher would be caught dead in a student bathroom

Lazy use of misogynistic term in those posts.

And no, they also didn’t offer any solutions.

They also aren't complaining about the situation. They're talking down to a hyperbolic poster who thinks closing a bathroom is child abuse.

DP. Not believe a poster claiming to be a teacher? That's sad.
Have you asked if there are adult/teacher bathrooms near where their class is? If not then you expect them to leave class with children in it to go to the bathroom bc they wouldn't be cause dead on them? Qucker to accuse people of lying than to rub 2 brain cells together.

Why aren't you using the adult bathrooms? In our elementary school we are prohibited from using student bathrooms. The last place I would want to be in a middle school is a student bathroom.

Because all of the adult bathrooms have been broken for over a month.

Well, no. As a teacher we were told explicitly to never use the student bathrooms, even when school was out, for liability reasons. So no lies or brain cells missing here, just experience from dcps policy in multiple schools

^this would be the only reason, but I honestly find that hard to believe. If it’s true, get on the news or talk to your CM! They’re desperate for press of them doing something

Ask the ADCA if you don’t believe me.

I asked a student I tutor instead. They told me it’s false. Call the YMCA if you don’t believe me

I asked if they or any of their friends ever see teachers in the bathrooms and she said no. I’ll go with a real person over someone on here. Even in absolutely shoddy DCPS, it’s unbelievable to me that there are no adult bathrooms working at deal. I’m very active on the union FB site as well, and people post asking for help there with much smaller needs so I’m SURE I would have heard by now.

There are 1450 kids at Deal. ~300 are in Reno who are most affected by this. If your tutee is in the main building, happily this doesn’t affect them. There are 6 adult bathrooms in the main building. There are 4 in Reno. All adult bathrooms in Reno are closed. At least half if not all kid bathrooms are locked in Reno.
