Bravo! Thank you for the listing above! |
| Yes, UVA is outclassed in everything, it does not deserve the overhyped ranking...pathetic. |
There is no doubt, for STEM fields go to GT over UVA even if you live IS. |
Agreed |
That’s not true. UVA has a top ten English Department! |
Amazing, it deserves that ranking then! |
I think you might have missed the sarcasm. |
I'm PP and to be fair, a school is more than STEM, the fact you don't get that says a lot about you. My point still stands though, UVA is overhyped like a lot of schools, what's your Alma Matr? |
What us wrong with you? Didn’t get in EA this week? Or rival students at VT or UMD. You sound like children playing in the schoolyard. |
| Yes, UVA is a terrible and horribly expensive school. My kid is applying next year, so I desperately need to scare-monger kids away from this school. Please, please tell those 50,000 applicants to get lost. TIA. |
What you should be telling them is to apply to Georgia Tech. It only cost $5,000/year for a much better STEM degree. |
Percentage of respondents on Niche indicating they got their money's worth out of the (undergraduate) program: GT 89% UM 85% UVA 78% UCLA 70% Berkeley 68% |
Yes, yes, go to Georgia Tech. There, that should do it. |
Ha! Ha! 😉 |
The reason to not go to GT is if there is any chance your child might change their major (which my engineering kid at UVA did). You don’t want to be a history major at GT |
