Why is UVA so expensive?!

We are more focusing on undergraduate ranking specifically

We did withdraw her RD apps. UVA came out only 2 days after Emory.

It doesn’t matter in this case. The provost says the school is recognized globally. It might be, but not as highly as he/she thinks.

Both schools have endowments in the billions, so there is FA to give.

At Emory and privates in general, there are many "over-payers" so that students like yours can be subsidized/ tution-discounted by the full pay gang.

Most endowments (80% or more) are restricted to a purpose by donors and belong to different schools. The law school isn't going to want its endowment funds providing undergraduate financial aid.
