They enjoy it. Scroll back a few pages, or if you can find the prior Tucker threads, you’ll find them saying that he was “taken out of context” or that “Republicans don’t want Tucker, only obsessed liberals do.” It’s part of the game. They enjoy being gaslighted because they think that the liberals are the ones who are losing. It doesn’t make a lick of sense, but that’s the deal.
