Is Tucker Carlson a Russian agent?

Carlson says he's not trying to convert his critics, and he's perfectly OK with people taking issue with what he says. "I’m liberal, actually," he says, reciting a list of his bedrock beliefs: "I believe in free speech. I’m suspicious of secrecy. I think that due process is vital; you know, I don’t think that everyone accused is guilty. I think I have much more in common with 1970s-era liberals than most people at The Washington Post."

One of his beliefs is not to get involved in the foreign affairs of other countries when it doesn't affect the US. You can argue whether that is the case with Ukraine - and I think there are good arguments on both sides. And Carlson would welcome this argument on his show.
He has also pointed out that the Biden administration is more worried about Ukraine's borders than the US borders. I agree with him 100% on this statement.

Lol what? I love Republicans trying to make sense; it’s adorable.

He keeps pushing Russia’s viewpoints. Once upon a time, that was a dealbreaker for Republicans; now it’s who they are. Russipublicans.

Anyone DCUM doesn’t like is a Russian agent.

Because there’s a long list of Congresspeople that work with China and Russia. Deflection to blame Tucker

At what point did Republicans start to think that propaganda for our adversaries was beneficial?

Since at least 2016 for sure...

The thing is that this is not what he's arguing. Instead, he is arguing that Russia is right to take over Ukraine. And he repeats Russia propaganda when he does it. Is he being paid to do this? Do they have leverage on him? Does he actually believe it? I don't know, but it is very odd and worth questioning why he goes out of his way to spout Putin's talking points.

Who knows. But Trump, Tucker, Josh “Fist Bump” Hawley - it’s a serious problem in the GOP that they actually care more about Russia than they do about the US.

Would it really surprise anyone if we discover a year or two from now that he’s getting paid a consulting contract by some Russian oligarch who’s a cutout for Putin? Not me.

Tucker's monologue last night was a masterclass in propaganda.

Will Saletan breaks it down here https://www.thebulwark.com/father-carlson/

There really is no other explanation - Tucker Carlson is on Putin's side.

The whole GOP is. My theory for years has been that when Russia hacked the RNC, they found evidence that the GOP has been switching election outcomes (local, state and federal) for nearly 20 years, that Bush didn’t win re-election, that Trump didn’t win, that the GOP didn’t win nearly as many elections as it has appeared, that laws and the Supreme Court have been illegitimate.

But the Republican Party is an arm of Russia now.

The Children of Putin. It is amazing how he has successfully disrupted so much in the country without firing a single weapon.
