Do you have a hobby/hobbies?

Are hobbies when you actually have some extra cash after paying bills and can do what you like with said cash? You guys are getting hobbies?

Fair point but it’s probably more about time than money. Certain hobbies cost money. But not all. And some hobbies are so expensive that they are out of reach for many.

Mostly one very intense hobby, tennis. Grown from a casual lesson once a week to 5-6x a week, playing on teams etc. Going on tennis trips etc.

Lately I don’t have the energy to do anything at all. So no, I can’t say I have any hobbies right now. I should probably fix that.

It might be helpful to rule out a medical reason, unless you already know why.

Nope, one of my hobbies completely pays for itself and occasionally brings in a tiny income.

Many of you have really interesting hobbies. This is making me rethink how I spend my time!

Folk music
Restoring vintage Coach bags

Plus two pastimes - thrifting and making jewelry.

I blow glass mainly. I also do some small stuff with my cricut or spend time with my animals. But glass is expensive and time consuming so that takes up most of my time.

I had a few requests to see the full manuscript, but no offers of representation. Now I’m about a third of the way through a first draft of a new novel.

I also read a lot.

Cat lady. My ds is in vet school and he got me into a cat foster program. I dote on my cats, buy them toys and accessories, and send my family and friends photos of them. I don’t know how this happened.

What genre? Have you thought about self-publishing?

I did before I had kids I also used to watch a lot of basketball and football. Between work and kids its hard for me to find much if any time for hobbies that aren't related to fixing/maintaining the house or something I can do with my kids

Why is your marriage imploding?
