Trump's whole life has been about persuading others to do illegal things on his behalf. SOMEONE organized these paramilitary to storm the Capitol. Someone persuaded 7 state GOPs to submit fake alternate election slates that were virtually identical. Someone persuaded a hundred House Reps and 2 score US Senators to vote against certification of the election. Someone persuaded attornsey to file cases at the state and federal level. Maybe it was Mark Meadows? Maybe it was a 300lb guy in his basement, I don't know.

It just seems awfully focused for a misfire. I have seen suicides go in through the eye when using a rifle. Think about it, odds are he would have been grazed or injured on the side of the head, less of a symmetrical injury. If it happened when he was 28 he was wearing a prosthetic before he decided the eye patch looked cool. Reading the indictment he spent about $10k on guns and ammo within days of January 6. His license to practice law was revoked in 2015 so how was he earning money? Who was financing his gun fetish?

I'm glad someone with the arrest team was thinking what I was thinking. I really want him healthy so he can snitch and face insurrection charges. He is wearing an anti suicide smock in his booking photo! No easy way out for him!

If you dig into Rhodes background you'll see he is a failure at everything. He was a paratrooper and injured himself almost immediately and was discharged. He spins a story as if he was a superwarrior when in reality he did nothing but hurt himself. He failed in marriage and was abusive. According to his ex wife he would wave guns around when they argued and when she wanted to leave he held a gun to his head and threatened suicide.

Her thread is great. Everyone should go read the whole thing. It's only 7-8 tweets long but pulls the whole picture into focus.

What gives me hope is that a crucial part of the conspiracy included installing loyalists at the top of the Pentagon in December. That proves Trump was directly involved. Only the president can do that, so the conspiracy can't all be pinned on his underlings.
