He, along with many other Democratic school board members, should also be criminally charged.

And Lisa Smith is gone. Those would be the two big TJ equity screamers.

What’s wrong with equity?

Lisa Williams was primarily responsible for all the “equity based changes” to the TJ admission policies:

FCPS lied about the number of low income students in the class of 2025. They knew that this was self-reported and based on a question that any child could say yes to in if they were reading it literally. They knew that it had nothing to do with if a child was actually low income.

I wonder if part of the reason that she is leaving is due to this?

Opportunity hoarders want all of the good stuff for their own kids and don’t want to share with the poors.

Because it’s not real equity. It’s discrimination (against Asians) in the name of equity. It should be a crime.

I see the resident DCUM “woke” trolls have shown up.

As pointed out, it is not real equity. Rather, it is anti-Asian racism in this case.

OMG. You know the answer.

Here is a different example of what your idea of equity leads to:

Does "woke" mean wanting to provide true equal opportunities?

No. Woke means you want to treat people differently based on race - in other words, not equally.

So how should we address racially disparate outcomes?

By saying that everything is fair and pretending the disparities don't exist. You can also push for some vague higher standards or better teaching in the worst off schools, but that's just lip service. What matters is a system in place that can be gamed by those with the resources to do so.
