If you cut out trips to Target

Where do you shop now? I spend at least 100 bucks every time I go to target. Sticking to a list strategy has not helped!

What do you regularly buy from Target? I can safely say I basically never need anything from there.

I buy recurring orders online. That way I'm neither in the store nor online tempted to buy something off-list.

I used to go there for laundry/paper products as the prices were pretty unbeatable. That always led to a 200 t0 300 shopping trip, yikes! I now purchase all paper products and laundry from Costco or Giants (they have great sales) and keep that extra in the family budget. Have stopped going to Target all together, it is a trap.

Online. A lot of their stuff is the same price online, and with a red card it ships free. If I stay out of the store, I don't drop extra cash!

Snacks for kids, household products, shampoo, frozen food

I end up buying a bunch of crap I don't need though.

Amazon prime. I only buy what I need versus seeing things at Target that I didn't know I needed.

I haven't been to target in years.

Lol this is so me.

What did you buy? I never need anything at target I can't get elsewhere. Paper products and detergent and sponges at Costco. Diapers online. I don't like target food and clothes anyway. Random household stuff I get on Amazon or overstock and fill my shopping cart and sit on it for a week and decide if I really need it. Easier to not buy than return. I pretty much stopped shipping anywhere but grocery store, Costco and hardware store. Everything else comes to my house.

Amazon Prime and Target online

I found that my local Target was repeatedly charging me more than the price posted on the shelf. After standing in the customer service line one too many times (or opting not to with my infant and preschooler in tow), I mostly get non-frozen goods at Amazon. I may be paying a dollar more, but at least I know it.

The fill an online cart and leave is one of my favorite unwinding activities, lol!

Makes sense!

I shop online. Something about that store has me throwing all sorts of stuff in my cart. Dog halloween costume, mascara, pretty file folders, trail mix, mop, birthday card and leggings. And I only went in to get the mop.
