If this makes you angry, do something about it.

And to clarify a point, while To Catch a Predator made every American an expert on pedophilia, the fact is that pedophilia is a very specific paraphilia that involves a primary sexual attraction to very young children, from infancy through grade school ages. Hebephilia is primary attraction to prepubescent children 11-14.

Ephebophilia is primary attraction to sexually mature children age 14-19, and is not considered a disorder or sickness at all.

Are the millions of young and adult men - and even girls and women - who were sexually attracted to teenaged Britney Spears in her erotic music videos sick and disgusting? No, they were not. They were normal primates of the Homo sapiens variety.

Is it creepy for men and women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond to primarily be attracted to teenaged bodies? I very clearly stated that the Epstein case is disgusting because it is TRAFFICKING of human beings, which is disgusting at any age but particularly when the victims are young and vulnerable for any number of reasons.

Nevertheless, it is NOT pedophilia for 18+ year old men and women to be sexually attracted to 14-19 year old boys and girls. Those who argue that it is have a beef with basic biology and also with the entire psychological/psychiatric professional globally.

Much of our advertising and entertainment industry utilizes later teenage bodies to sell products and media, and tens of millions of Americans feel sexual feelings looking at those younger but sexually mature bodies. Again, we are primates and these are basic biological urges. It is not warped or sick to be attracted to a sexually mature human being.

And again as I already said, acting on that attraction is a different thing. If there is love and nurture in a real relationship involved, it isn’t always a horrible thing.

Certainly most of you wouldn’t want your 19 or 20 year old son to be called a pedophile for falling in love/lust with a 15 or 16 year old girl, which happens all the time in the real world - in part because boys mentally mature much more slowly than girls at those ages.

And the other example I gave, Celine Dion who met her husband when she was 12 and he was decades older. They didn’t marry until she was 20 and I’m sure they didn’t have physical relations until she was late teens, but I have little doubt he sexually admired her 15, 16, 17 year old body. He also loved her dearly and they had by all accounts a wonderful marriage into which they brought multiple children. Was he a sick twisted pedophile?

I’d love nothing more than to see every last person who assisted Epstein in his trafficking scheme be held accountable, including bankers who helped him launder money etc. At very least these people should be outed and ostracized, because it’s likely for many of the crimes the SOL has run.

Will they be released? With the 218 signatures on the discharge, the House has to vote. Then the Senate will have to vote and my understanding is it is unlikely to make it through the Senate, is that correct?
