I read Schumer wants to have a vote on it today |
Right, but what he says and what ends up happening is completely different. |
Thune indicated he is prepared to move quickly |
WTH was the no?!? |
Actually when you think back to the period when he was elected, and all the people who didn't survive long or were simply not elected after multiple attempts to find a consensus candidate... I have to say, Mike Johnson has shown absolutely mind-boggling longevity. He has managed to thread that needle with pretty good accuracy. His strength is not putting people's back up, even when they disagree with him. That's a very useful personality trait for a Speaker. Not that I agree with anything he thinks, says or does. But credit where credit is due. |
Yeah, they had all that time the government was closed to come up with a strategy and cover up. However, there is zero chance Clinton will go down without pulling Trump down with him, and I'm sure Trump knows this. I hope it's a runaway train, but nothing has stuck thus far. The media didn't bother to tell us the felon raped a 13 year old. |
A Louisiana congressman, who thinks innocent people will get caught up in all of it. |
| So why did Mike Johnson sit on this for so long if it was a near-unanimous vote? |
| Clay Higgins |
He was working on the cover up. |
Credit for being the cuck to the Great Orange Blunder? Please. He was the only one without any charcter to sacrifice as he mudlled along like a circus monkey dancing for his master. |
I think the plan is to bury in the Senate or claim they can’t be released because of an open “investigation” in that order. Today is an embarrassing result for Trump and Johnson who both exerted every ounce of control they had to try to block this. This vote shows a complete Republican lack of confidence in both of them. |
| It will pass the senate as soon as today. It will be "DOJ investigations" that stall it, but that will only inflame the MAGAs and everyone else, more. |
