Do you want us to fill you in on all of the sh1tty stuff that APE did too? Or are you less "concerned" about them?

I’m in the APE group. There are some people that are not for me (example - the ones complaining about masks) but yes if “they” did something crazy do share?

SR people protest too much. Anytime anyone questions their wisdom and "studies", they come out like cockroaches and put us in our place.

I'll echo what some said above. Both SR and APE have to go. None of them or their supporters are good for our APS community and our real problems.

Disparage teachers
Yell and curse at teachers on TEAMS during class
Bully people on AEM
Yell at school board members
Post entitled crap on AEM (angry dad bros)

I wish there were a serious parent group to advocate for students and push the board to be accountable. I naively thought that’s what AEM was when I signed up. I like some aspects of APE - the newsletters, well organized comms and press releases, the advocacy but could do without the bullies and the anti mask nuts. Sort of odd there’s no group like this?

Maybe don't bring a mob to a school board meeting and shout down a Latina leader next time. Everything the crazies in APE did reflected bad on Miranda, because she's a leader in that group. I bet that cost her votes. Half of the Hispanic kids were in school in person. And half were at home. There were votes there to be won until APE made it clear how much hatred they had at that meeting.

What meeting are you talking about? Guessing this is about TT? I saw her at the last school board meeting saying “bring it on!” and I thought that was so unhelpful and frankly inappropriate for a former elected official and community leader. Sounds like there’s a previous confrontation I missed?

Personally disparaging people seems to be the main APE strategy for the past few months. Looks like it wasn't a very successful strategy to win a Democratic committee endorsement. How could Miranda have ever spoken up about bullying in schools? When that's all her besties know how to do here. Childish.

Just stop with the conspiracy theories. What happened here is the arl dems decided early on to back Mary and they did everything they could to turn their people out. If the race was among parents then Miranda would have won 70/30. I tried hard to spread the word about the caucus but so many still had no idea it was happening (unless of course you’re hyper involved w ACDC - ahem boomer w no kids). This school board is utterly incompetent and should be voting on remote school next year. APS is literally forming an enitre virtual school w principals and teachers and the school board isn’t even voting on it. The school board is a joke and Mary keeps thanking them for it. Congrats to her supporters that like the status Quo.
