Just like they've been all year. No surprise. But really sad to see people acting like this.

Did the SR party end already? Sad.

+1 yes, observing the troll patrol at their best. It's like a greatest hits album of the pandemic. Let's try to criticize three or four parents who we direct all our anger towards because we don't agree with having clean air or eating lunch outdoors to try to avoid spreading COVID. (Realize that DCUM is not really the place for reasonable discussion on anything, but STILL...) They really need some new material. Yawn.

We do have clean air and outdoor lunches.

Clean air is questionable, based on how old the ventilation system is at your school. Some places have outdoor lunch everyday. Other schools, not so much.

But let's be real. Ventilation lady and SR might have talked a good game, but APS pulled in the real experts to implement both. Sit down, SR supporters. You're not that important.

Once this mess hit the fan, Mary had to make a statement saying she was not affiliated with any parent-led group.

Messy.

Wow - how did I miss all this???

Do you want us to fill you in on all of the sh1tty stuff that APE did too? Or are you less "concerned" about them?

In case you haven’t noticed, Arlington’s new case rates have plummeted. The schools are fine.

APS pulled in the experts after SR pushed them to do it.

You don't really have to thank SR for helping out, but you can stop being a dick about it.

Oh, APE supporters did super s***y things too. That doesn't make it somehow right for SR supporters to do the same.

I'll say it again. The sooner both groups can just go away, the better.

But GLEBE! The issues at GLEBE!

No, there aren't issues at Glebe. The principal decided to take the kids outside every day for lunch. Glebe got air purifiers, like all the schools.

Sorry MT lost. She always seemed to be working really hard and made a serious effort. Never seen a campaign try to whip so many votes from Independents and Republicans, encouraging them to be a "Democrat for a Day" and vote in the caucus for the Democratic endorsement. Very organized. Out in the community. Guess you win some, lose some.

SR was never that important, except in their own minds and in AEM.

But just so I'm balanced, APE was terrible too, especially to the teachers. But I see they're running candidates all over the region. They got a movement going. I'm honestly really surprised Mary won. I thought Miranda and APE had the momentum.

But I guess they just expected to win and forgot to vote.

Glebe mom would disagree. She posts over and over about her kid learning on an ipad and only having 20 minutes of real instruction each day.

The status quo is very, very strong in Arlington.

+1000.

And look at DCUM. Kadera won, and APE and SR supporters are back in the gutters.

What an empty, empty win.
