Not OP or PP. whoever you are, you don't seem like a new poster and keep writing the same thing. Easy enough to switch computers. Can we move back to the substance and you go away with your posts about whether we should be here on DCUM? TIA. i would rathe here the complaints from 04 Dad then this endless credibility thing. |
Perhaps you and 04 dad should just create an account and then IM each other. That would be the most useful thing either of you two could do to this thread. Take it offline. |
And yes, we should believe you, Pot. |
Once you leave, I am sure PP and 04 Dad will too. You seem to be one sock puppet. Google it.

There is no harm in suggesting somebody create an account so that direct questions can be asked and answered. The overall points and complaints have been logged and counter argued ad-nauseum. If the PP truly wants to know directly from 04 dad and has questions they want answered "unfiltered" and without the noise of the board then it would be best for ALL involved that it be taken into a private conversation. There is no new ground being covered here. And I suggest 03 parent do the same and they can all have their own little echo chamber without the inconvenience of disagreement. |
| The pro- and anti- Washington Spirit crazy trainers on this board have convinced me that staying for girls DA in Arlington was probably DDs best soccer decision to date! |
| Folks, please get back to discussing soccer or I will have to lock this thread. |
+1 so, how is the training, roster size, etc. goign with the new Arlington program? anything different then last year in the curriculum? is all long ball being abolished in favor of Paul Riley's approach to develop more #10s? |
| I wish these local DA clubs would post videos of games. I have looked on YouTube but only see a few games from last year. For me the best way to see how my DD potentially compares and could play on these teams would be to see games. |
What formation does Arlington use? If there is no U16 official DA team, what is Arlington's plans for its 04s? |
Is it hard to catch local games? Does your DD play on Saturdays? Most DA games are on Saturday. Www.ussoccerda.com has the schedule. This year, it's still early. Maybe some games will get posted before its over with. |
As stated before, sometimes the games may be posted on YouTube but the games are filmed primarily for US Soccer as a scouting tool and for the teams. Most of the teams subscribe to video hosting and editing services so you have to be on the team to receive the links. If you know a parent on a team of the same age reach out to them and they may share a download with you. Or just go to a game and watch for yourself in person. |
This has also been covered waaaaaay back. The likely plan for Arlington DA is the age groups will be added as the 04’s progress. The concern was that their 03 on up age groups may have been to thin to support a competitive DA. This allows Arlington to grow and scale the program properly. |
Sorry; new to the thread. |
I don't think it was a jab, just a point of fact. If you can stomach it you can dig back and find some of the discussion. |
