Did you ever just think that maybe it’s not as many complaints as you think? |
Did you ever think that maybe the mayor is lying about this and the Washington post does not have accurate information. I’ve been consistently raising this issue. |
DP. I think a lot of people are just passive on this. I know I have been until now, and I have talked to other parents who would prefer the mandate be removed but don't engage in advocacy. |
Ok so we have 1 confirmed person filing complaints. |
It’s not just one person. I know many people who are. They’re just afraid of getting called out by their fellow parents for being republican. |
| Good luck with your writing. Remember what we tell kids, just because you want something doesn't mean you'll get it. |
Again. How many is many? |
So are you saying you don’t want your city ti follow the science and CDC guidance? |
| We’re on page 40 of a thread on an anonymous site and only one person has claimed to have previously written in. |
Back at ya. |
Yeah, weird thing to gloat about. -NP |
What does that tell you? I have written in, but you don't know if I'm the same poster who said it previously. Why announce it here? There are various groups on non-anonymous social media for that by now. |
Exactly. I’m in a group chat with at least 30 parents who are consistently writing in. I imagine there are many many more. |
|
There is no confirmation bias in your social groups.
Screaming into the ether always accomplishes something Just like the truckers. You will be successful in your advocacy. |

To all of the mask moms out there:
Turn on the State of the Union and tell me again how my son in K, with 1 in 1,000,000 risk from COVID, has to go to his charter school tomorrow and play at recess with a mask on for a seventh month. And wear a mask for 7 hours indoors while attempting to socialize and learn a foreign language. Because it makes YOU feel comfortable to ignore the CDC. While you work from home (probably). |
