LOL. Do you really think Israel will stop the carnage on Sunday? They would only up the ante if hostages are released. Hamas has no reason to get rid of the only power they have over Israel. |
What about HAMAS war crimes? |
How many are even still alive? |
Probably a bunch. It's not like Gaza is a complete wasteland. There are survivors and hideouts. Apparently, the bombs are so intense they create craters in the ground essentially building new tunnels and hideouts for people. |
Not according to the Intenational Criminal Court and the Hague. According to global standard, Israel is responsible for war crimes. |
As has been demonstrated over and over again, progressives are enthusiastically for Hamas. They seem to regard 10/7 as completely justifiable. Arguments are pointless with progressive fanatics. They are lost in their TikTok groupthink drivel. There is zero empathy for those who were murdered and those who have suffered through a year and half of brutal captivity. Hamas can do no wrong for progressives. It's all justified. That's how lost in hatred progressives are these days. It's pathetic. |
Not true |
A few articles I've seen have said that 23 of the 33 who are supposed to be released are believed to be alive. Of course, I think that includes the Bibas children, who Hamas had previously claimed were dead. |
Why haven't the IDF been able to rescue these hostages? Why are they waiting for Hamas to release? They are never going to release without demands which is what they received last time: prisoner releases. The Gaza Strip is tiny. It's not some vast land that's hard to find people in. I am surprised they haven't sent Arabic speaking intelligence agents or Palestinian prisoners on missions to to find the hostages in exchange for release. Israel's ministers are dumb. |
There are mazes of tunnels that Hamas has built under Gaza. Plus, the last time they were close to rescuing hostages, Hamas shot them all as the IDF was closing in. It's unrealistic to expect that the IDF can locate and rescue all the hostages before Hamas kills them. |
Of course, that's why the have been welcoming them as refugees. Not. No sane government wants to import a destabilizing influence which seeks to provoke reprisals for their terror activities, pursued in some incomprehensible effort to redress ancient grievances. |
I suspect Hamas will run out of terrorists before the IDF runs out of bullets. |
Not enough to take them in. They took in millions of syrian refugees. The palestinian represent a fraction of that. This is war. A war hamas started This will not end until hamas surrenders. FAFO. |

Good piece from ProPublica about how the state department ignored their experts on human rights to continue to allow Israel to basically do whatever it wanted. It mentions that the NSC, led by Sullivan, McGurk, and Hochstein, had an outsized role in shaping Gaza policy.
Also goes back to some Israeli violations of the Leahy law prior to October 7 and discusses the Netzah Yehuda soldiers and the state department response to the killing of Shireen Abu Akleh. https://www.propublica.org/article/biden-blinken-state-department-israel-gaza-human-rights-horrors This week 60 Minutes also had a segment on the state department and Gaza. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHKIh4SprKk&rco=1 |
| ICC also charged Hamas with war crimes. It's a kangaroo court, but a PP said that only Israel was charged, which is false. |
