MLSN2 is only 3 months old, given time they could have passed ECRL. But was just looking at late fall tournament results and MLSN2 didn't do well against ECRL. Now they are just EDP level. Some good, most not.

Obviously has no real knowledge about p2p MLS clubs. They are at best sthe ame as ECNL. Check the Surf College Cup last weekend: MLS teams are mostly at the bottom of each group, and some got beaten by RL teams.

Rumor is that ECNL will have a team based league at the top level. There are already some MLSN2 teams playing both MLSN2 and ECRL leagues. Some of those teams are ranked top in ECRL, they could be promoted to the rumored team based ECNL league

Most MLS2 is B team and we all know what level of B team is. You can call it MLS#, like you put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

I agree that MLSN1 is higher level, generally spoken, than ECNL.

However ECNL has better level of playing than MLSN2.

No, they're about the same and ECNL is often worse depending on where you are.

Both are similar quality for sure. Now ECNL is the best SY league and MLSN is the best BY league . MLSN banking on MLS2 to sustain things and clubs put up with multiple age cutoffs. Not really healthy or sustainable . MLSN2 only clubs likely won’t be able to sell all that travel to quality players who will move to ECNL especially if Aug+. MLSN2 talent pool takes a hit for sure. I am at an MLSN club and wish it weren’t true.

Yep, that was the parents comment today at pratice, asking club's staff if the MLSN2 team can be registered at ECNL for next year.

Clubs join leagues not teams.

If a parent said somehting like that outloud to other parents on one of my teams I'd boot their kid. Its not just because MLS is better or worse than any other league. Its disrespectful and parents trying to recruit other parents to jump ship for other leagues.
