Does MLSN pay extra insurance? You’re such a dork. U19 for all of youth soccer next year will include Aug 2007s to July 2009s that almost a two year difference. So it makes sense to break those kids up and play with your grade for junior/senior year showcase.

As an example how do you just plan to label the levels? Cant call them u12 u13 u14 u15 u16 anymore.

For just showcases, it wouldn't be much of a change. They wouldn't need a big amount of lead time.

Easy, set up a names committee. Have them meet weekly and within about 6 weeks, problem solved.

Biobanding works with MLS because they are acadamies. Allowing play downs in p2p leagues will bankrupt multiple clubs. Nobody wants to play against a cheater 3 years older then they are.

Just throwing this out there but how does the u15, u16, u17 naming convention work when players are allowed to play down?

Maybe something like u15+2, u16+2, u17+2? Or does u15 become u17, u16 become u18, u17 become u19, etc?

Its like saying you heard a rumor that NASCAR is going to allow Formula One cars for some events this year. Theres just so many reasons why even if people really want to see something like that happen that it cant happen.

Have you even considered the liability insurance leagues would have to pay in addition to whats already being paid?

I heard from Tom Condone the CEO of USYS. It’s not for me to consider I’m not making any decisions. If you don’t like it write to your local congressman.

Someone seems jealous that they don't get to make their own rules for youth soccer.

Also because hes fighting so hard against Aug players playing on teams that are their grade in school. Which would translate into all players during games being the same grade at showcases. Negates the need to do GY.
