Feedback on Next Level Lacrosse?

Wow 24 team just got crushed by VLC 13-3.

Meh - fall scrimmage when a bunch of players from both teams aren't playing. I wouldn't put much stock into these types of games.

VLC beat Next Level 24 B team. Don't get carried away.

Agreed, they are tune up games, not everyone is around for the 3 day weekend.

If we are going to focus on fall ball, the Next Level 24 A team beat the DC Express A team handedly on Saturday.

VLC started poorly and gave up easy scores. Second half was a better game but NL was too far ahead and won 9-4.

Not sure if it is a chemistry thing or not but VLC seemed to be unfocused and missing some intensity. NL looked far stronger.

Any feedback on girl’s program at NL? Specifically, for 4th grade (2028) vs other programs like MC or BLC?
Anonymous
Many of the 4th grade MC girls moved over to BLC this year, but don't otherwise know much about the MC program. As between NL and BLC 2028, talent wise, the two teams are nearly identical at the moment. Biggest difference is BLC being a parent coached 501(c)(3). So obviously who exactly the parents are makes a difference, but all in all we've been very happy with our experience and its been a great fit for our daughter as she has and continues to develop as a player. The BLC model involves a whole lot of commitment from the volunteer coaches, so generally speaking from what I have seen and experienced, you get parents and coaches solely focused on one team and its development. While my daughter plays for BLC, my son plays for a younger NL team and we know several girls on NL 2028 who seem to really enjoy it. So I think that shakes out to BLC and NL are the top 2028 programs currently and you just have to see where your daughter fits in best.

The 2020 college commit list is as impressive as any in town, in the region, in the country. The 2021s should reap the rewards of this new-found national rep.
