Why are younger men so right wing?

So that already makes this a solved non-issue.

Apparently, the Republican strategy now is "yabut once upon a time some of the Dems thought it wasn't an existential threat to humanity that there were 10 transwomen in womens sports." Or maybe they are going to run on "yeah Trump solved it but maybe he didn't solve it good enough so we have to keep running on it."

That really seems pretty lame and weak to me.

And yet every day there are new reports of men in women’s sports, prisons, and locker rooms.

We will stop talking about once this behavior is no longer occurring.

Is it actually occurring though? How are there still men in womens sports when Trump banned it?
Just because there's "reports" and "talk" about it doesn't necessarily mean it's true or still happening. The right wing tends to lie, and mean lie a lot, and viciously about the issue, as we found out with the Loudoun teen, who it turned out wasn't even trans.

Meanwhile social media is also full of videos of horrible MAGAs Karens probably very much like the PP harassing actual biological women and falsely accusing them of being transwomen when they go to the gym or the ladies room.

And it turns out there may be an entire bizarre psychology around that as well, as we hear from this former MAGA woman who's found herself accused of being trans. She goes into it in detail.

MAGA is a weird cult, man.

No one is saying this didn't happen. What they are saying is, this case is cited over and over as evidence of a widespread societal issue, when statistically, it isn't.

That is the difference: you care about statistics. I care about every single woman.

Do you care about the women in Loudoun county that were raped by anyone other than a trans person? Were there any? Probably not, right? I don’t think it ever happens.

It’s so telling how people like you are are entirely unable to stay on topic. Because you have no logical arguments to make.

It’s deflect deflect deflect with whataboutism in every single comment.

What about gun control?
What about women who are raped?
What about Epstein?
What about Trump being a bad guy?

Young Men are simply tired of having to pretend that humans can change their sex.

It's so telling that you commit one fraudulent fallacy after another, base rate neglect, refusal to acknowledge the far bigger and far more legitimate concerns of others and so on. Not to mention that the core of your whole argument about trans people being a threat to women hinges on a story about a Loudoun County kid who wasn't even trans to begin with. This isn't being dismissive, or minimizing legitimate concerns, it's about calling out your outright lies and bullshit.

I have not mentioned loudon.

My argument is evolution and biology. No xx will ever be xy.

You know not everyone is xx or xy, right? Pesky biology, making things hard.

Gender identity is not related to the tiny segment of the population that suffers from sex chromosome anomalies.

Again, unwillingness to stay on topic.

Because everyone knows xx can’t become xy and men can’t become women; so your argument is simply for abolishing protections for women.

Stay on topic?
Frankly I don't even see how your injection of your fringe hysteria about transwomen was ever on topic in the first place.

You're the one who's off topic. If you want to convince me otherwise then show some polling of young right wing males showing trans issues to be the top driver of why they are the way they are.

Americans of all ages are tiring of trans nonsense.

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/02/26/americans-have-grown-more-supportive-of-restrictions-for-trans-people-in-recent-years/

That poll doesn't answer the question. They may be "tiring of it" but the question posed to you was how it ranks in terms of other issues - like the economy, gun violence, healthcare, and so on. Try again.

No.

Men are right wing for a variety of reasons.

Trans is one of them.

You are free to make your own case about the economy, guns (?) or health care. Because as we have seen you unwilling and unable to focus on the trans issue. Which is actually smart, since it’s a losing issue for you.

I guess the only argument you think you can win on is by harping on transwomen and continuing to peddle hysteria about non-trans teenagers in bathrooms, and even that one's not going so well. Not the economy, not healthcare, not guns... That doesn't bode well for Republicans in 2026 and 2028.

Funny, that’s exactly what you said about the trans issue and Trump in 2024.

Meanwhile Trump won the election based on a they/them ad message.

Can’t wait to see how 2028 turns out when the Dems refuse to course correct.

I think voters are going to be a bit confused when Republicans try running on issues that they claim to have already fixed.

I guess this will once and for all separate the smart voters from the dumb voters, with dumb voters forgetting what the Republicans already took credit for solving.

Or maybe you Republicans should start being a little more coherent and honest and start running on real issues rather than these weird bogeymen.

They forget that Trump already did his EOs and already hung the "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner on anti-woke and anti-trans.

It’s always funny when a political movement tries to run on a problem it already declared “fixed.” It’s like watching someone brag about slaying a dragon and then immediately launching a new crusade against… the same dragon.

So what are those campaign ad strategies going to be, exactly:

"We solved the crisis... which is why you must panic about it again!"
"We fixed everything, and now everything is worse - trust us!"
"We defeated the menace, but also the menace is now destroying America!"
"We're the only ones who can protect you from the things we already banned!"

And best of all:

"We've run out of new villains, so here's the old one again!"

Hey good for you. Keep on ignoring the fact that Trump is sliding toward 38% in the polls and keep telling yourself about how much he's winning. Bad polls are good news! Losing is winning! Up is down! Down is up!

The only people less popular than Trump are his democratic rivals. Go look at some polls and you'll see why the pp made that comment. As much as people hate MAGA, they don't hate it as much as they hate the left.

I theorize this is why Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes are suddenly everywhere. Their voices are probably being artificially propped up so that people hear as much crazy talk coming from the right as from the left.

Trump won the 2024 election by default due to the unfit clown with a 35% job approval rating who was the sitting POTUS at the time. Now Trump is that unfit clown.

There may have been a dozen or so people conned into voting for Trump because of the silly trans rhetoric but those idiots didn't determine the election.

Dem ads targeting young males are going to write themselves. They can start out with:

"The Republicans told you that all of your problems are because of illegals, because of DEI, because of wokism, because of things like affirmative action, transwomen and CRT. He closed the border and rounded up the illegals, he passed dozens of EOs getting rid of DEI, wokism, affirmative action and transwomen, he gutted Department of Ed and got rid of CRT. He blew up boats in Venezuela, saying they were the source of illegal drugs ravaging America.

Yet now, despite Trump getting rid of all the things he said were wrecking your lives and standing in your way, you still find yourself underemployed, underpaid, struggling to afford an apartment or make ends meet. And some of your friends are still struggling with drug addiction and other issues. Clearly all of Trump's bogeymen were never the real problem after all."

And it's all going to be 100% true and there will be nothing the Republicans can dispute about that. Not a single thing.

Kamala’s super PAC says otherwise.

Future Forward estimated it moved the needle 2.7 points, which won the election. It's considered one of the most effective campaign slogans in election history.

Seems like you really enjoy ignoring reality and losing.

Well yes if Dems do win (unlikely) it be due to economic issues, not their policies on DEI or trans. Trans issues get less popular every year as normies learn more about it.

Crazy talk from the right as opposed to what?

Frankly it's kind of hard to find any non-crazy talk coming from the right anymore. The MAGA machine has muzzled most of the sensible Republicans and pushed them into a corner and thrown a blanket over them.

Kamala’s super PAC says otherwise.

Future Forward estimated it moved the needle 2.7 points, which won the election. It's considered one of the most effective campaign slogans in election history.

Seems like you really enjoy ignoring reality and losing.

Obviously you are ignorant about what is happening because it’s not widely reported and fact based links posted here are deleted.

In fact, you probably have no idea that women are routinely incarcerated with male sexual offenders. Obviously these stories don’t matter to you.

Fortunately the Trump administration policies have started to course correct the grave injustices of incarcerating male violent offenders with women and allow male sexual predators in women’s locker rooms.

But it’s not enough because the Dems are still fighting to allow males in female spaces. It will happen the day a democrat is elected president, as we saw with Biden. We’re never voting Dem again until they stop pushing this nonsense.

Well yes if Dems do win (unlikely) it be due to economic issues, not their policies on DEI or trans. Trans issues get less popular every year as normies learn more about it.

"Unlikely" - haha, yeah bold strategy, Cotton - run with that. Sure, you Republicans have it locked up and can rest on your laurels. You sure showed those Dems. They're never gonna win

Sounds like 2024 all over again. Déjà vu. Maybe I’ll dig up some old threads where you were saying the same thing.

Try again.

No.

Kamala’s super PAC says otherwise.

Future Forward estimated it moved the needle 2.7 points, which won the election. It's considered one of the most effective campaign slogans in election history.

Seems like you really enjoy ignoring reality and losing.

Ahhh... the genius of a person who relies on and trusts information from the ultra-wealthy political donor entities. Stay in line little sheep, stay in line. Bless your heart.

So you’re called Kamala Harris, your party’s nominee to presidency a brain dead sheep?

Interesting how low of an opinion you hold of your fellow Democrats.

Not "my" party and not "my" nominee. Compared to Trump, Harris is actually a godly genius of a political candidate. Some people aren't blinded by political loyalties. You should try it. Once you've accepted the ugly truths for what they are, you'll feel enlightened and liberated.
