Where is the outrage about the Israeli starvation of Gaza?

79% of Israeli Jews untroubled by reports of famine in Gaza.

Lies.

Weren’t we repeatedly told that Israel is a democracy? Netanyahu is upholding what Israelis want and what the American Jews backing Israel want.

I have yet to see any famous American Rabbis calling on the president to stop the blockade and allow food in.

Well, here you go: https://www.npr.org/2025/08/01/nx-s1-5486700/humanitarian-aid-gaza-starvation

As for the the survey above, that's a eye-catching headline but it's just one look at a very complex situation. For another perspective, here's an article from the Times of Israel about the residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz, which was ravaged on 10/7, turning a ceremony about rebuilding their kibbutz into a protest against the government's intention to occupy Gaza. https://www.timesofisrael.com/kibbutz-nir-oz-suspends-cornerstone-laying-event-to-protest-cabinet-meeting-on-gaza-plan/

Just like the US, Israel is a complex place and no single survey can tell the whole story. Take some time and look at the protests, many of which have been going on for months, the op-eds, the statements by opposition leaders, etc. Plenty of Israelis know the difference between right and wrong and are demanding that their government hear their voices.

All I see around MoCo synagogues are, “We stand for Israel,” signs. I have not seen even one ceasefire sign at a synagogue in the nation’s capital.

Translation: I am unwilling to even entertain the idea that the decision that I’ve already made about American Jews might need to be reevaluated in the face of an evolving understanding of the situation and/or the admission that not all American Jews are in lockstep agreement with one another or the institutions in which they pray, and so instead I’m simply going to announce that the signs outside the buildings I drive part are clearly proof of the opinions and beliefs of 100% of the Jews around me.

If you pay more attention then you will see that that signage is not on every synogogue. That signage, which is akin to from the river to the sea, usually denotes a more conservative/orthodox congregation.

I wish people would realize that, just like Christianity and Islam, Jewish houses of worship come in the same variety of flavors as every other religion.

The war will end when Hamas surrenders and the Palestinians retreat from the lands they stole from the Jewish people.

Barf. What a load of crap

Israelis stole this land.

We need to feed and house every American before a single penny more goes to Hamas. The people of Gaza brought this on themselves.

I’m inclined to agree. But we should also stop giving Israel planes and bombs.

Nope, nice deflection. We give Israel $10 million every single day. That’s $365 million a year. That money should be spent on our own people, not a hostile foreign theocracy.

Sorry, not 365 million. It’s ten times that amount. Imagine.

"Stole" is a twisted revision of actual history. The Palestinians lived there under a variety of foreign governments, never one of their own because they have never been a separate and independent state. Possession was by sufferance, never by right. They screwed up big time in rejecting the offer of their own country in 1947.

We are literally paying TO starve the people of Gaza. This is an embarrassing take.

When you start being outraged about a thousand times worse starvation in Sudan right now, I might start caring about Gaza.
In the meantime, you are a hypocrite who only cares about one group of people.

You have no idea who cares about Susan. This thread is about Gaza.

This thread is a blatant excuse for antisemitism and pro-Palestinian propaganda, like the others the OP starts every couple of days on the slightest pretext, adding repeatedly to her own posts to make it appear there is actual support for the terrorists who were raised in came from, and supported by Gaza. That the Palestinians brought this on themselves is a concept not to be countenanced.
