| so their stock is rising today - is this manipulation? How does a stock for a company reporting a 71% net income loss not tank? |
| Trump and Elon killed that company. Stick a fork in it. |
It’s a short squeeze. Fundamentals are still bad, give it a few days and the stock will be below $220. And this next quarter is going to be brutal for them. |
|
Yes, it's a buy. Why? Because the company will diversify away from cars to batteries and robotics. They still have a lot of resources despite having a bad quarter. |
| ^ But you have to be in for the long term. |
Wait I thought it was AI and robotics |
The people refusing to buy their cars will also refuse to put Tesla robots in their home or use their batteries. |
+1 I’m not yet ready for an electric vehicle but I was excited about the solar tiles he (said he) was developing. Now I won’t get involved with any of his sh!t. |
True, but they sell a lot of batteries commercially. Same will be true of robots. |
you answered your own question |
|
Example of Tesla product being bought by large commercial interests: https://www.tesla.com/megapack |
| I was kinda hoping that MAGA people would want to start buying Teslas as a way to show their support for these criminals. What a win that would be. Probably the only way to get climate change deniers buying EV cars. And the rest of us can buy better EVs and hybrids. Sold our Tesla last fall because of Elon, got a hybrid Volvo and love it sooo much more. |
They don’t make the batteries they just sell the packaged product. They have no edge other than bundling with solar cells and TSLA name. |
What robotics? Just because they say they are going to do something, doesn’t mean they are. There are 100 companies that have more advanced robotics technology than Tesla. |
Aren’t those batteries made in China by his competitor BYD? And the other Tesla batteries are made by Panasonic in Japan. That will go over well with the tariffs. Just skip Tesla annd go right to the source, Panasonic, and get batteries. And Elon is not the only company working in robots. Elon made himself the Tesla brand. Elon and Tesla are irrevocably interwoven and Elon is dirt, so Tesla is dirt. |
