Wow .. that score is a lot closer than many expected. HC showed some promise in a few big games this year. They need to be more consistent to get to the next level but they can build on what they achieved this year.

Tough night for PVI. Boys lost too although the score was closer than the girls (9-5).

Was this a close game throughout or did Holy Child make it close in the end?

Announcers said GC outshot PVI 23 to 13 deep into the second half. Gotta get possession to compete. PVI’s draw specialist couldn’t get it done.

So, the GC goalie had one save in the game?

First half goalie had 0. Second half goalie ended with 3.

And please don't tell me it's not about StJ using his $ to offer a lot of high level players full rides or close to it to play there. Every StJ sport is getting use of his $. The coaches are building up the GLAX program a few recruits a year using this strategy.

Sigh. U don’t know what you are talking about. Spewing BS.

Right? He gave an initial donation and the rest of the money didn’t happen because the school failed to meet certain conditions. That money was for football. School has plenty of other donors.

It was within 2-4 goals for most of the game. Visi has some really talented players but doesn't seem especially deep.

Visi has a lot of girls who have been told their whole lives they are strong, but in reality are not. period. Yes, there are a handful of talented girls. But, MANY, have parents who play the political game both in HS and in club. Catching up..

the Visi girls are at all the tryout showcases for example. $ talks. Talent is another ballgame.

St. Stephens or SR will take it. My guess is SR. I heard last night they only have 4 seniors and a VERY serious strong bench. They are the team to beat. We are a SJC family but have friends at both schools. Good luck to both teams!! Future is bright for DC/MD... !

Please tell your goalie(s) they rock. When people start talking about you anonymously online, you know you’ve arrived.

Umm spoken like a SR parent. So Visi girls go to showcases so how is that relevant to how they play at Visi? And no, there isn't any more money at Visi than SR, SSSA, GC, SJC. You people are crazy.

All the top teams have good days and bad days. That has been VERY clear for ALL teams this season. Not one team has consistently performed. Some better coached....but even the team coached by the GOAT has had bad days too.

IMO the ISL is up for grabs. SR has forgotten to show up a few times, as has SSSA and Visi. Whichever team wants it the most will get it.
