2023 Girls ISL and WCAC outlook

So much Visi hate. Why? I just don't see why parents have this sentiment about any of the families at any of the schools. We are all in the same boat trying to raise nice girls and giving them opportunities that seem the best fit for them as individuals whether that be public, SR, Visi, Potomac etc. By projecting all this negativity and unproductive energy, I have to surmise that it goes on IN your household too, which then is absorbed by your children just continuing the cycle. Be a better person, for her sake.

Regarding your comment: Where do you get your information? If this is your opinion, then say "in my opinion...." You make a statement like that without substantiation or attribution and you simply sound like an idiot.

There is no political game at Visi. Club of course is another story.

Was this a close game throughout or did Holy Child make it close in the end?

It was within 2-4 goals for most of the game. Visi has some really talented players but doesn't seem especially deep.

More Visi haters! Visi was ahead the second 1/2 by 4-5 goals most of the time. HC had two quick goals near the end. I will say that HC corrected most of their issues from last weeks game and showed up to win. You'll remember SSSA only beat HC by 1 and HC also had a good ride against SJC.

My apologies for triggering you but I'm not sure why the comment that Visi doesn't seem particularly deep or not tracking the goal differential to your satisfaction is considered hateful. Having seen Visi play multiple times this year against several different opponents, it was an observation. Production in those games was concentrated in several players and there was a noticeable drop off in offensive contributions from the rest of the roster.

IMO, that is the mark of team that is not deep, or perhaps is young in the case of SSAS and HC given that each have nine freshman on the roster. The same observation about depth can be made about other ISL teams.

Didn’t work out for your DD at club I gather.

Actually, my daughter is at a top club but these are just observations. Wishing all the girls good luck. Hope they are having fun and enjoying high school sports.

Yesterday 5 people scored at the visi game. I think that’s pretty spread out.

It is odd to me you that you ve gone to multiple visi games— yet it appears that you are not a visi parent . And, you know how many freshman are on multiple teams’ rosters. I’d suggest you get a life outside of watching and pontificating on high school lacrosse.

Again incorrect information. SR has 6 seniors. The two sophomores who play are 2025 capital blue players. They have two 2025 capital orange players on the roster but they do not play. There are two freshman on the roster. Their strength is in their juniors.

Both freshman start and that SR class is loaded.

They have 5 seniors, four of which play regularly.
