All these negative SJC coaching comments are a joke - sincerely hope they are not coming from anyone in the SJC community. SJC girls lax was no where before the current coach who is building a program that is improving each year.

My DD goes to another WCAC school and played and lost against SJC. They are a well-coached team and the PP is right she has this ship going in the right direction and is at the beginning stages of building a program that will turn into a perennial challenger to the WCAC championship on a yearly basis.

Previous poster is correct - players get the credit and coaches get the blame. Overlooking PVI was a critical error. SJC had superior talent which underperformed when it mattered. That falls on the coaching staff.

Forget about the coaching. It all comes down to Plank's $$$$. And please don't tell me it's not about StJ using his $ to offer a lot of high level players full rides or close to it to play there. Every StJ sport is getting use of his $. The coaches are building up the GLAX program a few recruits a year using this strategy.

13-8 GC at the half. GC having a comfortable lead throughout. PVI being pesky but not getting enough offensive possessions.

GC 19 - PVI 12 Final. A dominant win by GC.

Announcers said GC outshot PVI 23 to 13 deep into the second half. Gotta get possession to compete. PVI’s draw specialist couldn’t get it done.

GC’s score would have been a lot higher had they not made some uncharacteristically sloppy second half passes that went out of bounds that turned the ball over. PVI showed some hustle at times but GC was the far better team today, both from a coaching and player talent standpoint.
