If you weigh between 120 to 130 pounds I have a question please

Please- if you weigh between 120-130 lbs how many calories do you eat in a day and would you rate yourself as sedentary (no exercise) or do you work out/ if so how much? I'm asking because back when I weighed 125-128lbs I really don't remember my calorie intake and my exercise was light to moderate (walking/jogging) and just more active. Now I'm struggling to lose weight (140lbs wanting to prevent joint aches and pains) and want to try to cut back on calories but need a guide as to what someone at my goal weight consumes. Thanks!

I am 45. 5'4". Weigh 123. Not sure how many calories I eat per day. I eat mostly clean. Lots of vegetables and lean meats. Very little sugar, gluten, and alcohol. I also lift 4 times per week. This may not be a lifestyle for everyone, but I love it. I feel strong and healthy.

I range between 125 and 130. I am not sure about the daily caloric intake, but I can give you an example (I do this most days).

breakfast - coffee with a bagel w/ cream cheese
lunch - salad (I typically go to Chopt or bring some from home - including an egg, or some pasta)
snack - orange (so refreshing)
dinner - salad, 1 plate or bowl of homemade food (chicken stir fry, lasagna, steak, something along those lines), some nuts/pop corn/watermelon and wine for dessert.

I exercise here and there, no more than twice a week - mix of yoga and running.

hope this helps

Thanks- that does help. I'm wondering about portions. Do you consciously eat smaller portions?

OP, I went from 135-140 to 125-130 earlier this year after a long time at the former. Remember that what you can eat at 125 to maintain that weight is not necessarily going to get you do that weight.

I did it by sticking to 1200-1300 calories per day and tracking vigilantly. It didn't even take very long, about two months. Once I lost the weight I was able to relax a bit and eat more calories without gaining.

I'm 5'8" and weigh 127. I have a small frame, so I'm thin but not emaciated looking. My measurements are about 34, 27, 35 (34a after 2 kids). I've been within a few pounds of this weight since high school (I'm 40 now). It's genetics. I do exercise regularly, but I eat normally too--maybe on the "cleaner" side of the average American diet, but I don't count calories or diet. Today I ate a fried egg with 1/2 an avocado and 2 cups of coffee with coconut creamer for breakfast; a salad with 2 grilled chicken tender thingies (homemade vinaigrette dressing) for lunch; 4 bacon wrapped grilled shrimp, mixed green salad, and fruit for dinner; a beer and a cereal bowl of popcorn after dinner. I drink water and LaCroix throughout the day. I run 3-5 miles 3x a week and do a couple 20 minute HIIT workouts during the week. Yoga for 10-15 minutes before bed because I'm a stress case. Oh, I also take turmeric and fish oil supplements because I was also having joint pain-back and knees--and find them really helpful.

I'm 5'8" and weigh generally between 123-126. No idea how many calories I eat. I swim, do yoga, or a dance class 5-6 days a week.

I am 5'7", 122 lbs give or take. It's all genetics. Doesn't matter if I eat nothing but sugar or only spinach for a week, I will weigh within 2-3 lbs of this, and have since I was 18. I walk a couple miles a day.

Age 36, 127. I eat about 1800 per day but it's compromised of a lot of pasta, a protein shake, sometimes I have ice cream for dinner. My diet is atrocious and I know it, LOL. I run about 3 days a week and lift weights 4 days b

5"1", 119-121 pounds. I run daily, do some strength training and watch what I eat w/o counting calories. I'm practically a vegetarian, drink very moderately, and avoid sweets and soft drinks.

I'm 5'3", 51 y.o. I've been stuck at 132 lbs since having kids 19 years ago. My goal is 125... I will admit, I eat and drink plenty and exercise regularly. I'm sure if I cut back on calories or upped my exercise I'd get there.

5'3" and 35, weigh between 125-130 calories. I probably eat close to 2500 calories most days. I exercise every single day (both cardio + strength, interval work).

I used to be a LOT heavier and credit exercise. I strongly believe that it raised my metabolism, even when I'm just hanging around. I'm just much, much more active now. I used to drive 4 blocks to the grocery store - I never ever do that now! I'm vegetarian so don't eat meat, and mostly carbs.

^ LOL obviously I meant pounds, not calories!

5'5" and 125 lbs. I would guess I eat over 2000 calories a day. I work out nearly every day though, which includes lifting heavy 3x a week, long walks every day and HIIT cardio and yoga a few times a week.

Hi OP. At 5'3", I used to be able to maintain 125lbs easily, eating pretty much what I wanted. However, I've always been a relatively healthy eater with mostly veggies and protein and moderate drinking. Now at age 45 - sigh - I have to work hard everyday. I could consume 2,000 calories per day and burn it off without thinking about it and now I can only consume 1,200 calories. I do exercise less, but stay relatively active with various activities such as tennis, skiing, etc...
