Fairfax County Double Murder

When this first happened we had some people on here saying something about Brendan’s birthday (which I guess it was, I just looked that up in the court records) and they (or someone they knew?) had stopped by or dropped off a present. Had a drink? I don’t remember exactly but it was implied that other people had been in the house on the evening or night of the 23rd.

So during that line of questioning I thought this might come up but obviously Juliana didn’t bring that up (granted she could have not been part of this interaction between BB and the other person). And the defense didn’t specifically ask either. I don’t have any specific theories on that, I just found it interesting.

Just curious if anyone else remembers this. It seems kinda weird to not acknowledge it was Brendan’s birthday or someone stopped by. So maybe defense will bring that up later. I guess it could later be used to show that Brendan was not “working on the plan” or with the laptop as much that night as Juliana implied.

(Obviously I believe BB was part of every facet of this incomprehensibly evil plan. And killed Christine)

I remember a “neighbor” saying that they went to Brendan‘s house on his birthday to wish him a happy birthday or whatever and then Brendan showed his new phone that he got for his birthday.

This is true, his bday was the night before (thurs). He specifically mentioned his new phone and that he went to the store to get the JUST the contacts transferred over. I remember saying something like "just use iCloud, Android is lame". Also being confused why he didn't transfer over all the photos and message history. But I didn't really care at the time. I didn't see Christine, but the weird thing was that he asked if I wanted to wait until she got back from work. He's never really done that before. I hung back for a few mins, but left without seeing her, I really was just planning to pop in quickly. I had gone to the gym and on the way back just randomly picked up a 6-pack of cookies. I figured it'd be a nice thing since I knew it was his bday.

Also the atmosphere felt a little weird when I walked in, He, Juliana, and the kid where in the kitchen. It was festive, but when I walked in, the whole mood kinda changed. Juliana disappeared upstairs.

Also 1 week after the murder, when they were in the hotel, when the house was still closed as a crime scene. He tried to convince me that he didn't know how many shots were fired. That's when I knew something was off, i knew he was lying. He's not the type to forget any details. He's a very detail oriented person and he doesn't take any random actions, he plans things and is very good at follow through.

Have you told authorities all this?

Omg. I read the telegram conversation. I wish I hadn’t. So disturbing on many levels.

My Takeaway on the telegram conversations was that Joe wanted to make sure that he didn’t cross any boundaries with who he thought was Christine. Wanted to make sure that he arrived when he was told and left when he was told and did only things that “she” consented to.

I wonder if this will have an effect on the fetish community — like it’s a major red flag if the only comms are via messages, and the person says don’t actually confirm the intent and limits with me when we meet in person. Hopefully no one ever does this again — I can see someone setting something like this up as revenge on an ex. Consent should always be confirmed in person.

Why did they get Juliana’s sheets? And what were the marks found in it anyways?

I don’t understand why they would stage joes body like that—it doesn’t seem to fit with B’s story about what had happened.

I really hope so. Anyone on that website should take this case to heart to protect themselves and ensure they don't do harm to others.

The depravity of BB is astonishing. To think something like this up. To work toward it for months. To have conversations with a stranger and know you are sentencing him to death. And then, to not just murder your wife - the mother of your child - but to make her suffer, to make her last moments on earth unbearably painful. How did he even get to that point? It's unfathomable to me. Pure pure evil.

I guess I need to catch up on the testimony. How was it staged?

You don't die from a gunshot would to the head with your hands crossed like a mummy.

Lying perfectly flat.

Didn't JM testify that they put some of C's blood on him?

Warning to anyone watching today live that they are showing pictures that may be disturbing to see (blood stains, etc)

IMO some of the the exhibits and witnesses are out of order a bit to tell a cohesive story. I think the sheets were shown to tell the side story that BB was banging Juliana (to use the parlance of our times).

Why a genius? She ended up in a shitty situation, even if she is just deported.

I meant genius in the context of her ability to thwart and frustrate the defense attorney. Not like she could work at an Apple Store.

I don't think that's the reason, since the defense admits there was an affair.

There must be something the defense is going to try to prove later that all this forensics will disprove. Clearly today they want to show that no evidence was moved or tampered with. The sheets are a weird one though.

The truth of the matter is that Joe was engaging in risky behavior. Not behavior for which he should be murdered but risky behavior none the less. Meeting sex for strangers is risky.

Wow so BB went to Mcdonalds, stayed in the bathroom for about 7 minutes (presumably waiting for JM's call), and then went back home. So he didn't even get breakfast from Mcdonalds.

Driving in a car is risky. Get a clue.
