Omg. I read the telegram conversation. I wish I hadn’t. So disturbing on many levels.

My Takeaway on the telegram conversations was that Joe wanted to make sure that he didn’t cross any boundaries with who he thought was Christine. Wanted to make sure that he arrived when he was told and left when he was told and did only things that “she” consented to.

Yes absolutely.

And also, Brendan wanted to make sure that Joe thought there would be no introductions or “niceties” that the morning, that the minute he walked in the bedroom the “scene” would begin straight off the bat. The messages detail violent acts that would occur including immobilizing her and that he expected her to cry, maybe even panic. Sick that BB knew how scared she would be.

DP. I found it really upsetting for reasons that have nothing to do with the kink. Getting a sense of Joe’s ‘voice’, and seeing a last message right before he went to the place were he would be murdered for no reason… it’s heartbreaking. I am so, so sorry for his family and other loved ones. 😢

OP here. I agree 100%. It’s so sad that he was lured to his death. I believe that if Joe had the opportunity he would’ve saved Christine from Brendan’s wrath that day.

So great that some of you are posting here about the trial. Can you please give us more context when you post. What is in this telegram conversation? What was the issue with how his body was found? Thanks

PP here. I hadn’t thought about that, but I think you’re absolutely right.

You can look at the submitted evidence right here. It’ll show you all of the telegram posts.

As far as how Joe’s body was positioned, it was as if he was a vampire with his arms crossed on his chest. A total unnatural state you can see the picture if you look at the evidence in the link above.

All right something popped into my head after this line of questioning about the 23rd. When this first happened we had some people on here saying something about Brendan’s birthday (which I guess it was, I just looked that up in the court records) and they (or someone they knew?) had stopped by or dropped off a present. Had a drink? I don’t remember exactly but it was implied that other people had been in the house on the evening or night of the 23rd.

So during that line of questioning I thought this might come up but obviously Juliana didn’t bring that up (granted she could have not been part of this interaction between BB and the other person). And the defense didn’t specifically ask either. I don’t have any specific theories on that, I just found it interesting.

Just curious if anyone else remembers this. It seems kinda weird to not acknowledge it was Brendan’s birthday or someone stopped by. So maybe defense will bring that up later. I guess it could later be used to show that Brendan was not “working on the plan” or with the laptop as much that night as Juliana implied.

(Obviously I believe BB was part of every facet of this incomprehensibly evil plan. And killed Christine)

I remember a “neighbor” saying that they went to Brendan‘s house on his birthday to wish him a happy birthday or whatever and then Brendan showed his new phone that he got for his birthday.

Why a genius? She ended up in a shitty situation, even if she is just deported.

she appears to have a below average IQ to me. She isn't even smart enough to lie about things that are harmful to her future. I have no idea why someone would thing she was a genius lol

She’s gorgeous

I also thought it was odd none of that was mentioned during Juliana’s questioning of that night (it would establish some timelines) but…. I think that post was bogus and posted by his mother. If I recall they mentioned Brendan showing off his new phone that he got for his birthday. As if that’s why he obtained the new phone and not to cover up his upcoming murder plan.

I did if you keep reading the thread. You can also click on the link and read it for yourself. It’s sexually violent and graphic. Not going to paste it here!

Good God. I’m not unaware of the world and not a prude but JFC, the things people do. Poor Christine.

This is true, his bday was the night before (thurs). He specifically mentioned his new phone and that he went to the store to get the JUST the contacts transferred over. I remember saying something like "just use iCloud, Android is lame". Also being confused why he didn't transfer over all the photos and message history. But I didn't really care at the time. I didn't see Christine, but the weird thing was that he asked if I wanted to wait until she got back from work. He's never really done that before. I hung back for a few mins, but left without seeing her, I really was just planning to pop in quickly. I had gone to the gym and on the way back just randomly picked up a 6-pack of cookies. I figured it'd be a nice thing since I knew it was his bday.

Also the atmosphere felt a little weird when I walked in, He, Juliana, and the kid where in the kitchen. It was festive, but when I walked in, the whole mood kinda changed. Juliana disappeared upstairs.

Also 1 week after the murder, when they were in the hotel, when the house was still closed as a crime scene. He tried to convince me that he didn't know how many shots were fired. That's when I knew something was off, i knew he was lying. He's not the type to forget any details. He's a very detail oriented person and he doesn't take any random actions, he plans things and is very good at follow through.

Interesting. I guess the timeline that was more in question as far as the planning would have been after Christine got home. Because they needed her laptop. Still seems kind of weird that no one brought up that it was Brendan’s birthday. But maybe the defense doesn’t really want that to come up either.

I thought maybe the prosecutor was trying to elicit this from Juliana when she asked why they picked that Friday. Juliana said Brendan told her why but she didn't remember. Also Christine was supposed to work that day and Brendan convinced her not to (maybe he asked her to have special birthday plans?)
