I thought about getting one years ago but never took the plunge.
Looking back I am glad I did not go through with it. What about you? |
| Zero, they are trashy |
|
People who have them look ridiculous as they age.
Cool at 21. Not so cool anymore at age 51. |
| None. I'm 46. I thought about it my twenties, but never did it. I'm glad now. Yuck. |
|
34, M, no tatts, but not against them
There's a fine line between sexy and trashy when it comes to tattoos. Unfortunately, most women seem to fail that test. |
| None. Never. Yuck. |
| I have one. I think they are just like anything else. They can be done well, or they can be complete failures. But I also think they only opinion that matters is the person who has them. They are personal to me. Not meant as entertainment for others. |
| Zero. They're trashy. |
|
Zero. And they look trashy on men too. It is really one of the worst fads ever.

A little black one, just like a little black dress, is nothing to be shocked at. Just don't choose a name you're going to dump later or choose a character from a language you're not 100% sure about
|
I don't think it's a "fad." Haven't people been getting tattoos for hundreds of years? I really want one, but will never get it because I can't deal with the idea of it being permanent and having people see it in a professional environment. |
| I always looked at the one on my grandfather's arm. He had been in the Navy in WWII. It was an anchor... it had faded and was this strange green color on his old muscled arm. That was enough to make me not get one. |
Exactly. Somehow the snake slithering up your back doesn't look quite as sexy with wrinkles, stretch marks and age spots. |
|
I personally think tattoos on a woman look bad. I know wonderful women with tattoos, so I keep that opinion to myself.
I will say, that more and more women are getting tattoos and the tattoo taboo seems to be shifting. |
| Zero, and yes. |
