Biden’s economy

Since Republicans keep talking about all the layoffs like they’re Biden’s fault, I think it’s only fair to point out that big businesses are doing this for regular capitalist reasons.

Is it your position that the president should nationalize utilities, food production, and other industries responsible for daily necessities, expect people to work according to their ability, and provide things to people according to their needs?

If so, bring on the Marxist revolution! Capitalism has had its time.

What happened to personal responsibility? Why aren't these people pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps? Isn't that the GOP way?

Hey Rs - instead of gleefully hoping for more suffering, how about helping some people?

Do Rs have even one single idea for helping people?

Jobless claims fall 12k to 201k, near historic lows.

Existing home sales up 3.1%, to a 4M annualized rate.

And take a look at your 401k, stock market surges to record highs. S&P up over 2%, Nasdaq closer to 3% on the day. Nvidia up 15% with blowout results!

What a day for the economy. This is not a good economy, it’s a full fledged boom!

Since when is a president responsible for food prices? Or gas prices?

Have you noticed that companies that produce food and sell it retail are reported record profits? THAT is your inflation.

Did you even look at the chart? People are eating out at record levels, that is why food costs are up. The chart doesn’t say what this author thinks it says. It says people are spending more on food because they are eating out more. That means they feel economically secure enough to spend more on food by eating out!! Just look at the chart.

Regardless of the anecdotes someone keeps posting, all the important numbers show a strong economy.

Someone keeps posting every layoff announcement they can find even though layoffs are at historic lows.
