| Picked up lunch and bottled water for DS's field trip tomorrow. Sent DH a text that said "lunchables and water for field trip tomorrow. Do not eat. Repeat: DO NOT EAT LUNCHABLES OR DRINK WATER." He texts back "ok". Guess who drank the goddamn water?? Both bottles?? Doesn't even apologize. Just sits there staring at me when I tell him to check his text messages. I am having such a hard time not letting this annoy me! Help! |
| WTF? |
| And why do you need to refrain from being pissy? |
| Spend less time being pissy, and more time looking up exactly how bad Lunchables are for your kid. |
I guess because it's the nice thing to do. I have trouble letting stuff go. |
| Ummm its water. Just fill the bottles back up. How can this actually be an issue? |
Not OP, but spend less time being a dick. |
+1. The fact that you have to tell DH these things and he disregards you would make me crazy - sounds like something DH would do and then accuse me of being a b**** when I give him crap about it. |
| Your husband is an idiot. I'd be mad, too. |
OP here. I totally get that. But this scenario happens constantly (him just not listening) and it gets on my nerves! I want to be that guy where shit rolls off my back but clearly I'm not. |
He didn't call me a bitch today, but when I asked for an apology I got the "I'm sorry, ok?" Said in the tone of "fuck you and quit bothering me." |
| My DH does this shit all the time and it makes me nuts. Turns out he has ADHD. I can be a little more sympathetic to it now, but not much because he refuses to take meds or get therapy. |
| That would drive me insane. I'd probably send him to the store for more water bottles. Natural consequences and all that. |
So much wrong with this post. 1) Lunchables. Dafuq? 2) You only bought two bottles of water? Dafuq? 3) This pissed you off. Dafuq? You trollin' hun? |
| My fifth grader would be mortally embarrassed if you sent lunchables to school. You do understand that kids mock each other for that, right? |
