| i think he is doing a good job by pointing to the inconsistencies and making her look less credible than direct. it's painstaking but that may be his strategy. I still they conspired and did what they did but she does not seem to be telling the truth. |
But he’s asking her questions like what exact date did you do XYZ? On the day you created the email account who put Christine’s laptop back you or Brendan? How long exactly did you have the laptop in your possession the day you did ABC? I mean that’s like asking you the exact date of what time you had lamb or who put the leftovers in the refrigerator two weeks ago. He’s not asking her concrete questions where she’s pretending she doesn’t remember. I’m sure she’s been instructed to be honest and she’s scared about lying under oath. I wouldn’t answer these questions either. Unless I knew for damn sure. |
| This guy is a terrible public speaker. Too many umms, kind ofs, and awkward pauses. and on top of all, can’t keep his PowerPoint presentation in the right view. Even the judge is having to help him! |
| Has Kate Brower been discussed here with respect to Juliana? She is a journalist and Netflix producer. |
And? |
She is a really bad witness. |
|
"how long did you have the laptop when you made the telegram call to Joe Ryan"? (which was 3 years ago)
I can't recall "you dont seem to have a good memory about much of this" Who remembers that level of detail? |
Is there a deal? |
She seems to answer/respond with "black and white" thinking. She can't seem to read into his intentions or tone. |
| Did you guys catch that they lied even to Tess? Apparently it was a secret kept between both of them so she was probably believing him this whole time. That’s a surprise for me! |
| Annoying that the CourtTV feed is picking up the prosecution discussing amongst themselves (whispers meant to be quiet/not heard). |
But Tess knew about the affair, obviously. |
Oooor she just sees CB as a terrible wife that was actually on that websites and then Juliana came along with all her support and started getting involved w Brendan naturally. |
| There's something off about Juliana (besides being a murderer). |
|
Surprised how empty the galley is, thought it would be jam packed with journos and locals.
The defense attorney is terrible at asking questions. The prosecution should be objecting more (or at all) to his leading questions. He also can't hear for shit, keeps trying to repeat what J is saying and getting it wrong over and over, which confuses and frustrates her more. |
