You're part of the problem, sweetie.

You're incapable of taking ownership of your own bad behavior.

Multiple people? BS. You said "literally the opposite of what I was saying," in other words, you admitted this was you.

Okie doke. You don't have to believe me. Enjoy your evening!

Totally willing to believe you. But which "you" should we believe? The you who said "Literally the opposite of what I said"? Or the you who said you never made the post referred to in your "Literally the opposite of what I said" post?

I don't even know what you're flipping out over at this point. All I said was that given your post about only asking to speak to a manager once in all your years, that this thread is not about people like you. And you Lost. Your. Sh!t. I really don't know what I did to deserve your ire, but I'm really not that concerned. You can continue insulting me and calling me names over...being called Karen? This is all just so ridiculous, but I can't say I'm surprised. 35 pages of #whitepanic

You're busted for hypocrisy and pot stirring. Sorry if that bugs you.

Okie doke

I just checked out the Bethesda bicyclist thread for the first time. The guy is clearly a jerk and I hope he gets jail time.

But after I got over the outrage at his behavior, something else struck me.

Nobody is trying to make that about ALL white men.

By contrast, every time another white woman shows up on YouTube, misogynist pp tries to make it about ALL white women.

Heck, they’re even limiting the police officer misdeeds to all police rather than all men.

Aw man!?!? Who would ever treat an entire group of people as though they are all responsible for the actions of one? So crazy...

OK, the Cons are here.

By "they" you mean a small number of people are blaming all police. I hope misogynist pp (you?) is not representative of larger parts of society, either.

That's what happens when you post videos of 2 middle-age white women acting badly, claim this problem is an epidemic, and somehow connect it to any middle-age white woman who tries to fix a problem.

The smear "Karen" works well to lump all these groups together.

The irony of calling someone who disagrees with you a misogynist while whining about being called Karen. Gotta love it.

If that’s not what people are saying about the police I apologize for the error.

Speaking out against sexism is not what the article is referring to.

The article is about how white women wield their white privilege in a way that is different than white men, and in a way that gives them an easy way to deny that is what they are doing. Every woman has a story or two at least about being on the receiving end of this. You're being called out for it now, and you're all throwing a collective hissy fit.

I know I’m not a Karen but I think all women are hurt by the term. You’re welcome - I’ll be like the military and stick up for you, no matter your beliefs.

You would be wrong. Plenty of woman have said they are not hurt by the term. They have also said they don’t find it racist.

A lot of women said they don’t like it and find it misogynistic. Don’t gaslight us. Listen to what people are saying.

Are you? Bc there have been numerous post (even on this thread) of people saying they don’t find the term Karen offensive or racist. Oh and shocking, there have been numerous articles too. So gaslight yourself. It’s what you do best.

DP. Please point us to those "plenty of women."

In this thread. Go back and read. In any Karen thread. There is your point. Go follow it and be upset.

+100. I wonder who this anti-Karen person is? A troll? An Incel member? A straight-up misogynist?

You again...you’re clearly sockpuppeting. Trolls are always fun.

DP. As another poster said, if some find it offensive, then it's best to listen and not use it.

In fact, many here say they think it's offensive.

Why is that so hard to understand?

It’s not. People get offended when the wind blows differently.

Why is it so hard to understand that several people have said they don’t find it offensive?
