And they tend to be aggressive and stupid. |
LOL. Such a sweeping generalization. |

Recycling.
Not knowing how to spend time with your kids (people who need to know what to do for a 3 day weekend when daycare is closed). |

People who are so wrapped up with their Political affiliation that they follow party lines.
Real Houswives. |
Most cancers have a genetic component. |

having children with multiple people. Is it that difficult to only procreate with one person?
Having a bunch of kids and each has a different surname. Way to advertise that you are a skank. |
Um, yeah okay. Actually I'll stick with the doctor who constantly screens me but thanks

I've been struggling to think of anything I oppose that I won't cop to. I can be pretty frank! There are opinions I wouldn't volunteer to certain individuals, i.e. I wouldn't state that I hate tattoos in front of someone with a tattoo because that would be rude, like saying you don't like a certain haircut in front of someone with that haircut. And it's a matter of taste, so why say it? But if someone with a tattoo asked if I liked tattoos, I'd have no problem telling them and no and why not. I guess two things: People not keeping up on current events. I don't think they need to follow the news religiously, but I do think that when you live in democracy, you have an obligation to have some understanding of politics and policy, and how the blasted government works. If you're not a reasonably informed voter, you're a free rider. Speaking ill of friends. If it's about someone I know, I will defend or otherwise gently suggest that I don't think it's okay to do that. If it's about someone I don't know, I won't say anything, but I will think less of the speaker and it will definitely diminish our friendship. People can discuss something negative about a mutual friend out of concern or because they're trying to figure out how to deal with it, but I think in those conversations you can really feel if it crosses the line into something gossipy or disrespectful. |

I am opposed to:
Adoption. As an adopted child myself, I think it is cowardly and chicken shit to create a child, birth a child, then pass along your parental responsibilities to other people. Esp. strangers. Delegation duties should not relate to parenthood. Gay Marriage. I am 45 and in my time, seeing two people of the same gender kiss was unheard of. I have gay friends and I hope with time they will help me open up my mind about equality. I guess I just am to accustomed to the definition of marriage being between a man and a woman. I need time to understand this definition being changed. I hope I can honestly feel this is a right that EVERYONE should be able to enjoy in our country. At 45, I guess I am just too set in my ways. Pray for me. LOL. Illegal Immigrants who come into this country, give birth, then have children who are U.S. Citizens which allows them to collect Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, Medicaid and Section 8. If you come into this country illegally, then come to work. Not to have an anchor baby, get on social services then use your child as a bargaining chip for not getting deported. Republicans. I don't think I need to explain that one. |

Being a vegan doesn't account for that level of crazy. I was a vegan for years and once accidentally ate a chicken burger that was mislabeled as a veggie chicken burger. I would rather have not eaten it, but I didn't barf or whatever. I think I mentioned to the manager that it was mislabeled (it was at a cafeteria) once I realized the mistake but that was it. Even as a vegan, I knew I had to live in the world, and sometimes that means accidentally eating something I'd rather not eat. |
