So what kind of King will Charles be?

Given the King is heading over to France in October to smooth things over - one of her top priorities - I will guess she is a fan.

You'd think wrong. And its literally Charles job to have pointless meetings.

You’d be ignorant on both accounts. First, that clip is from college in 1993 when she was a Liberal Democrat, 3 years after in 1996, she grew up and realized the error of her ways and joined the Tories. Secondly, you have no idea what the content of the king’s meeting with Macron will be.

Being King is all well and good, but can he do voiceovers?

He’s not going to do much. He’s only interested in waiting around for Camilla to be free.

Why didn’t the Queen give it away after Prince Philip died?

As the eldest son of Prince Phillip, Charles inherited the Duke of Edinburgh title. Now he’s King, he can give it to Edward.

DP. He could have before too. He doesn’t want to. He doesn’t like either of his brothers.

Guess again. He couldn’t give away the title until it merged with the crown (i.e., he became King). A Duke doesn’t get to unilaterally decide who inherits his title.

?

But it has merged and he still hasn’t given it despite elevating William and Kate to PoW

What’s so hard to understand? The Prince and Princess of Wales are the heirs/successors. Their titles were changed immediately to correspond to their new standing and increased responsibilities. Titles and responsibilities for others will be communicated as they roll out changes to the monarchy. Seems pretty standard protocol for most orgs when there is a leadership change.

To be fair, the King literally buried his mother last night and has spent the last 12 days in public and unable to mourn in private. Perhaps he just wanted to be alone and grieve?

While I agree with your point, she was not (and will not be) "literally buried." Her coffin will be placed in the George IV Memorial Chapel in St. George's at Windsor with her parents, sister and husband, none of whom were or will be buried.

When I saw the room there were no caskets but the stones indicating where they were “buried”. I suspect there’s another room below that one.

What do you mean when you saw 'the room'? Have you been in the vault?

If you’ve been to the church’s in Europe, many powerful/historical people are buried right in the church. Those rectangular areas you see people walk over are graves. You can see it in the Sound of Music when Maria gets married. Yes, I am showing my age. There are also many sarcophagus’ in the churches.

When I visited Windsor many years ago you could go downstairs and see some of the monarch’s graves burial areas. The queen’s family was in a small room. Very simple.

and plain compared to other monarchs.

If you ever get to Vienna visit the Habsburg Imperial Crypt. Outstanding.

The palace released the Queen’s final resting place. This is how simple her room is especially compared to other monarchs.

Earl of Wessex is 13th in line. PoW is 1st. Are you still confused? Where's the fire? It makes no difference if it happens tomorrow or in 2 years.

The title PoW is given by the ruling monarch. Prince Charles did not receive it until he was 10 and the coronation happened when he was 21. It’s automatic.

She pledged to be a Queen for life, in death she wanted to be just a woman. Also buried just with her wedding ring no other jewels.

Well, anyone who could get behind that immoral human (Camilla) does not have my respect anyway.
