I meant his other brands. His consumer base does not strike me as being amused by putting a traitor on twitter. |
Twitter stock is still not doing so well relative to offer price, and Tesla stock continues to bleed. The market does not seem to be loving any part of this deal. |
Tesla and SpaceX? What about rich tech bros and reddit trolls strike you as either for or against Trump? If anything, they're all like Mark Cuban, contemptuous of his claim to be a billionaire, but otherwise could care less. |
FYI, the whole market is not doing well. |
Tesla is doing work than the market. And twitter’s price will be affected more by the merger expectations than the broader market. |
So Tesla down is down to $734 today. I understand he's secured $12.5B of the purchase price with a margin loan against Tesla stock. At what price does this twitter purchase become impossible for him? |
I don't know the answer to this, but I am still predicting that this deal does not go through. It was thrilling, an emotional roller coaster for some, and great publicity, but Elon Musk doesn't really want to run Twitter and I don't think he wants his brand to suffer if it craters after he buys it. |
What law are they breaking? And why do you say “pro-abortion”? |
'' It is not against the law to protest at justices houses. I know you are going to say these protests are illegal under 18 USC 1507, but that same statute also outlaws the same conduct "in or near a building housing a court of the United States" so I am sure you will support the same charges against anti-abortion protesters who protest at SCOTUS or any other courthouse. |
“Temporarily on hold” as Elon discovers Twitter might have spam accounts ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() https://www.axios.com/2022/05/13/elon-musk-says-twitter-deal-temporarily-on-hold |
![]() This is the equivalent of using the home inspection contingency, finding a cracked window, and backing out of the deal because you are worried you’re overpaying lol |
More like as Musk finds out he might have been wrong about Twitter being flooded with spam bot accounts. Part of his grand plan for revolutionizing Twitter was premised on the notion of getting rid of all of the bot accounts, so finding out that less than 5% of accounts are bot account threw a wrench in that. |
Sure Jan. |
So it is ok to pass law restricting freedom of speech? That law dealing with the justices. Who then would be the body to determine if the law is a violation of our freedom of speech/1st amendment rights. And no one sees how this is a huge issue? Holy Moses. |
