As a mom whose kid did something unthinkable, I think you can’t comprehend where your mind can go to convince you you didn’t raise a monster. It takes a lot of time. I’m not justifying BB’s mom, but I understand how she could be in such denial. BB is guilty and eventually his mom will come to realize who she raised.

It seems like a lot of women here aren’t moms, or think that if something terrible happened they would be thinking completely rational. This train of thought is just disconnected with reality.

I am a mom, I still blame Brandon's mom for publicly harrassing the victim Joe Ryan and his family. So I call bull crap here... the apple didnt fall from the tree here and I don't have one bit of mercy or empathy for her or her son. I only have empathy for the actual victims and their families. Imagine how Christine's and Joe's mom feel and felt?

Theresa knows for certain the guilt of her son. She doesn’t live in some delusional world. And that makes her putting Brendan before not only his victims but her granddaughter, that much worse. What goes around comes around Tess.

+1 there was no denying it in her mind. She knew exactly what he did, which is why she threatened Juliana while she was in prison.

that is a great point! I totally agree with you. It is rumored that she also kept her granddaughter from visiting with Christina's parents!!! She is one awful grandma and mom to Brandon... A truly terrible person.

she got custody so quickly because she was living in the house at the time of Brandons arrest for sometime. So in order for the court system to move the child from her home and an established caregiver they have to prove abuse on Tess's part. Thats a hard bar to reach. Even Brandon still had custody with no charges until he was arrested and taken to jail. Just the way child custody works its tough to get a child away from those that have been watching her, where she lives. I hope one day the little girl finds a much much better home and people to care for her. That may happen after the trial for Brandon if hes found guilty. There are charges against him for child endangerment. It was tacked on by the state after he had other charges served. They do want to save that little girl but it is all dependent how this trial plays out. Who knows Tess may still get charges brought up by the state after Brandons trial for threatening Jullianna. They have evidence but they have the burden of proof which is harder than just having evidence. If she is charged with that it does open a door for her criminally and it might even help to remove the little girl from her care. We can only hope in this case that all happens.

Thanks for explaining that. I’ve followed the crime off and on but didn’t realize that Tess was already living there. I can only imagine the psychological damage that has been and is being inflicted on that poor child, and how terrible it will be when she someday starts processing the truth.

Even if there was something that prohibited this, she’ll be deported and not under jurisdiction anymore

They don't have to pay her within Virginia, many of the less reputable companies are actually from other countries, and they are not under legal restriction of the Virginia laws. They likely can and will pay her outside of the state so it doesnt matter what the Virginia law says even. There are loop holes these companies could utilize.
