PG County Graduation Rate hits record High

Its at 79 percent. Black student rate is 81 percent

Then you must be referring to the United States as whole because those numbers mirror the country average. BTW these numbers represent 4 year graduation rate, if you apply the 5 year rate and GED's its actually higher

I really am not. Only news I hear from PG county is always bad news. Glad to hear kids are improving.

Fantastic!
I live in Anne Arundel and was sad to see Kevin Maxwell go, but I'm so glad things are improving in PG County. There's a lot to be said for a leader who grew up there and lives there and has real ownership and pride in the area.

It's not that hard to graduate. You just need to show up... Test scores and grades means more to me than graduation rate going up. Pg county schools have always sucked and will always suck.
