Agreed, but the media and the GOP have already tried to spin that his health is a major concern for his as a Senator. They are trying to gain ground by suggesting that his health issues may be problematic and that they are more serious than they seemed. His statement and his cardiologists statements are designed to combat that message and to convince Pennsylvania voters that the mild stroke and the pacemaker were both manageable health issue that are a non-issue.

If this was a sincere concern, they wouldn’t support Trump.

Fetterman may not be in great shape for his age, but his relative youth means that his life expectancy (from this point forward) is probably still longer than a guy who is nearly a quarter-century older and obese himself.
