I'm not a Dem. I'm a lawyer. Also, I can keep track of what has happened in this case, which other posters seem to have no idea. |

A dictatorship. You have got to be kidding. A simple illustration...... President Trump has left it up to the states - the Governors - to determine how and when to open their states. Is that the action of a dictator? And, interesting that it is primarily democratic leaders who are locking up citizens for infractions of the stay at home orders. And Blue State leaders who have placed stupid requirements on the shelter at home orders and are less willing to allow their citizens freedom. Nobody started WWIII, Seal team 6 got BinLaden, yes with Obama's order - but not Biden's mind you. He said not to go. Quite a leader there, huh? Obama is a good dad, but was a miserable president. He seems like a decent person, but as more comes out about this Russia investigation, I do wonder how much he ordered to be done. I think we will be finding out. Too many coincidences and unexplained meetings/texts/events. As for the lock down which led to this economic downturn..... it was necessary to start, or at least that is what the health experts say. But, it's time that it is over. President Trump did not have a choice. And, your hyperbole does not give your post much credence. Depression? Please. You have no idea what a depression is. Murder? Sure. |
Treason is legal if you’re a Republican. |
Dp -Please please please get out there! Don’t just whine about your stolen liberty, take to the streets. Don’t let them force you to hide your face. Fight this tyranny! |
Regarding Obama weighing in on the Flynn decision........
Barack Obama on Michael Flynn The lawyer President misstates the crime and the real threat to justice. https://www.wsj.com/articles/barack-obama-on-michael-flynn-11589148648 |
Jeez, WSJ. That's just embarrassing. |
Obama is in CYA mode. That includes trying to discredit Barr. |
There is a difference between providing unified guidance and using the bulk purchasing power of the US Government and an authoritarian dictatorship. Sorry you can distinguish the nuance. |
DP: Trump wins again in 2020, Logan in 2024 and 2028. After 16 years of hard work, the US demolishes the partisan deep state and becomes a lawful republic again. |
LMAO at Trump and Barr embodying this. Okay. |
Compared to Obama and Holder and Lynch? Trump and Barr are saints. |

The dedicated public servants who remain cannot respond publicly to those who claim that the department acted appropriately in these cases. But I can, and I say this. If the department truly acted because of good-faith commitments to legal positions, then where is the evidence of those commitments in other cases that do not involve friends of the president? Where are the narcotics cases in which the department has filed a sentencing memorandum overruling career prosecutors? Where are the other false-statements cases dismissed after a guilty plea? |
You have it backwards. Barr and Trump are destroying any concept of "rule of law" and you are applauding it. |
What you and Trump call the "deep state," the rest of us call "law enforcement" - when you saw that it is demolished, what rises behind it is Trump Americana, where he and his cronies do not answer to anyone and the rest of us have no common standard to adhere to. |
