Harry doesn't seem like he likes the whole "royal family" thing much, and it's got to be incredibly tough to be born into such a high expectation, highly public, often archaic family, with seemingly no sovereignty or choice.

I think they have the right to decide what's best for their own family. Time's have changed. They should live the life they want.

Her dad has openly done some pretty messed up stuff. Meghan has been pretty subdued about addressing with the media any of those situations you mentioned, it’s been other people out there attentionwhoring.

I really don't know whether Meghan is secretly an evil narcissist. But independent of that, the British public doesn't own Harry and he's free to make his own choices. He's been lashing out about the reality of his existence for as long as I can remember. It's not like Meghan just got under his skin. And even if it doesn't work out between M and H, at least he got the help he needed from her to escape his life with this weird a$$ cult that is the BRF.

Yes, as long as we're judging their decision that was the only part that rankled to me. They just renovated that Frogmore House for $3 million at taxpayer expense and now they're moving, but also keeping that house in the UK so they have somewhere to come back to when they visit? I know they're rich, but what a waste.

They don't own that estate and probably had no say in it except some input on the design. No one probably asked them what they wanted and they were told this is where they are living.

If that’s the case, then give it up and let someone else live there. There’s no need for them to keep it as an expensive taxpayer funded British second home

They have allowed them things FAR outside of typical Royal protocol and are paying for everything they want.

Yeah, her dad and her sister have been publicly awful. None of us has any real knowledge of what's gone down between them, but it's hard not to give Meghan the benefit of the doubt over those two yahoos.

Why? There are tons of non-working royals that still retain their titles like Bea and Eugenie, Andy, and Michael of Kent. Also Diana divorced out of the family and still retained some titles she received by virtue of her marriage.
