You don't see that for what it is? Really? Do you think there has been a peaceful transition of power since Clinton lost?

Did a war break out that I’m unaware of? Interrupting Sarah Sander’s burrito isn’t exactly a civil war inciting offense. Did the joint chiefs seize the White House while I was napping?

Do you believe this transition of power has been peaceful?

DP. Yes, absolutely.

Do you feel that Trump stole the election through collusion with Russia?

I don't know. I think that we want to find out, and Trump and the GOP are doing their damndest to stop that from happening. I find that suspicious.

Did you find Cohen's testimony a bit to 'pat'?

No, and it's a ridiculous assertion. You don't have any substantive evidence he is now lying nor does the committee, so you rely on vague assertions like "too pat."

I found him believable based on what I know about Trump so far.

That's called confirmation bias. It's a real thing.

No, it's called not being a sheep and supporting someone blindly just because they belong to my party.

So is finding him not believable. He lied before, so you assume he is lying now. It's also the essentialist fallacy, that he lied therefore he is "a liar" therefore you can dismiss whatever.he says, even when it conforms to known facts.

The problem with a witness like Cohen is you don't know when he is telling the truth. The hateful comments he had about Trump are his opinions and he will never be prosecuted for "lying" about those incendiary comments because they can't be proven or disproven. And, he knows this. As do his lawyers. But, it really makes his story more "sellable" down the road.

Mr. Lanny Davis...would that be the friend of the Clintons?!

+1

I don't understand why Cohen brought up Khan family, John McCain, Charlottesville, the usual Dem talking points. He offered nothing new today. We are back to Stormy.

He offered evidence of bank fraud, property tax evasion and misuse of charitable funds. He has either already told SDNY about these things or they will ask him now. If they can't verify his answers, he will face additional charges of lying to Congress and all hope for a reduced sentence will be shot.

He has no reason to lie now and every reason not to.

He offered zero evidence. He speculated. Those speculations are nothing new if you watch CNN/msnbc.

There were documents entered into the record. The rest, SDNY already has.

Cohen offered NOTHING to show collusion.

When will the left give it up?

Love how you believe the parts of his testimony that serve your narrative.

“This was a vivid look into the chronic ward of the prion disease that has eaten away the higher functions of American conservatism—and, thus, those of the Republican Party as well—since Ronald Reagan first served up the monkey brains almost 40 years ago. These are the complete creatures of the talk-show culture, the perfect products of two and three generations of gerrymandered in-breeding. These are the monsters from inside The Bubble. You could see this moment coming during the Obama years, in which the country returned the two worst Congresses in American history, full to the gunwales with Bible-banging crazy people. Sooner or later, this was going to be all that was left, and it was going to have to confront a serious crisis with unserious people. That's what Wednesday was about.”
