I don't think the SOL will have run by the time we have a new president in two years |
By all of this had a material impact on the election. This should be impeachable, and certainly Hicks should be held to account for perjury before federal investigators. |
I don’t understand why we’re acting like a guiding memo is the end word of the law. He is clearly committing crimes in office. It is ridiculous that the president* is allowed to act like he’s above the law. Beyond ridiculous, it’s un-American. |
So Hicks won’t be charged simply because Barr says so? Can someone explain this to me please? |
I would also like to know what happened to all the criminal referrals mueller made |
Yes, Trump thinks of himself as an autocrat an installed someone who would protect him at all cost at the DOJ. |
In order to be guilty, Hope Hicks had to have known that she was violating the law. It isn't clear that Hicks knew what she was doing was illegal. Trump, on the other hand, did know. Statute runs out in 2021 for Trump to be charged, which can't occur while he is president. |
+1 |
My 11 year old knows that what Hicks did was against the law. She is pretty but not naive. |
She lied about knowing about the cover up. So even if she didn't know a cover up was illegal, she lied about the dates, in a material way. |
This may be a dumb question, but did Barr have to clearly order a US Attorney not to charge her? |
Hope is fun and all, but let’s focus on the fact that we know for a fact that Donald commit a felony (well, another one).
When the eff us that useless lump of syphilis going to catch some consequences? |
It’s pretty convenient for Trump that the only one who is charged in all of this is Michael Cohen. Not Trump, not Hope Hicks, not Don Junior, not anyone else at the Trump Organization. |
Barr is covering for him. |
She also lied her pant-steaming ass off to Congress. https://judiciary.house.gov/sites/democrats.judiciary.house.gov/files/documents/7.18.2019%20Letter%20from%20Chairman%20Nadler%20to%20Hope%20Hicks%20%28002%29.pdf |
