By all of this had a material impact on the election. This should be impeachable, and certainly Hicks should be held to account for perjury before federal investigators.

In order to be guilty, Hope Hicks had to have known that she was violating the law. It isn't clear that Hicks knew what she was doing was illegal. Trump, on the other hand, did know. Statute runs out in 2021 for Trump to be charged, which can't occur while he is president.

My 11 year old knows that what Hicks did was against the law. She is pretty but not naive.

She lied about knowing about the cover up. So even if she didn't know a cover up was illegal, she lied about the dates, in a material way.

It’s pretty convenient for Trump that the only one who is charged in all of this is Michael Cohen. Not Trump, not Hope Hicks, not Don Junior, not anyone else at the Trump Organization.
