Landon just gets more and more insufferable. She is grating. Landon and Thomas deserve each other. That "OC 'our class'" thing was disgusting. Sadly, I know many old money southerners and some of them really do think like that, they just don't say it out loud (when being filmed).

I am also really bothered by Thomas coming off as father of the year and stepping up to save the day with the kids. He was gasoline on Katherine's fire. He treats the custody battle like a war game. He'd rather punish her than help his kids have a mother. Watching him ignore them at the polo match was disturbing. Same with keeping them in the guest house with nannies.

As for Kathryn's drug issues, didn't Thomas go to JAIL for drugs??? And are we supposed to believe they weren't doing drugs together? He had to have been aware, at a minimum, of her drug use when they were together. It's like he can do no wrong and she's the devil.

Well, he's famous. Maybe that's what she finds appealing. She gets exposure in a tv show. Or maybe I'm just cynical.

I don't know any single parents who stick their kids in a guest house with nannies bc he can't be bothered with them and doesn't want kid drool on his nice stuff. His family name may be of a certain stature but he is pure garbage.

People forget the ridiculous amount of drugs Thomas had is what led him to jail. Everyone just kisses his ass because of his family. He also totally used Katherine because I truly believe he wanted kids but didn't want to be bothered changing his lifestyle. Now he has that. An heir and a spare who only minimally impact his life. At least their nanny seems nice....

If you watch the prior seasons you can see Katherine was high in most scenes when she wasn't pregnant. Drugs weren't something Thomas introduced her too, but I think he 1000% increased her access to them. But Thomas is clearly able to party and not use every day, Katherine wasn't.

They were both ordered by the court to take drug tests. Katherine failed hers. A few times. Thomas did not. That is why she lost custody. They wouldn't have gotten to being mandated to take drug tests if Katherine hadn't been refusing Thomas the ability to see his kids. She gambled and lost.
